If you like essence mascaras, than you will certainly like this Catrice mascara. Catrice and essence are sister brands made by the same producer, Cosanova.
Rock Couture is a volumizing mascara which I chose because if there’s one thing I like about my eyes it’s the fact that I already have pretty long lashes, but I like to add some extra volume.
The formula is great, especially for a drugstore mascara because it doesn’t run, it doesn’t clump up and it does what it’s suppose to do – add extra volume. The mascara is also waterproof, but I can remove it pretty easy with a good eye makeup remover. Of course, the Bielenda one never got it all off, and it also will not budge if you’re the type of person that likes to use just makeup wipes.
But if you want a mascara that will stay put and won’t budge all day after you apply it in the morning, I think you should definitely give it try, especially since it’s very affordable. I don’t remember the exact price, but I pay for it only a couple of euros.

Now, I won’t buy it again simply because I don’t like the wand. I hate chubby wands because I always have trouble coating the lashes in the inner eye corner without getting mascara on my nose, but that’s a personal preference thing. I guess I knew it and the chubby tube should have been an indicator that the wand will be the same, so this mistake it’s on me. I almost used it up, because I don’t like to waste products and because the formula was fine and it worked for me, but I won’t repurchase it again.
All in all, minus the wand, I would give the Catrice Rock Couture mascara a 4/5 ♥♥♥♥
