I didn’t know if I should write about this cream or not since I don’t know if it’s available outside of Romania, but I thought to myself what the heck, I should do it. At this moment I’m focused more on skincare than on makeup and I want to share the good and the bad with you all.

So, as I said before, Elmiplant is a Romanian company which was bought by a Greek or French company a couple of years ago – I don’t know exactly, but it’s still one of the most popular Romanian skincare brands here. Since I’m concerned about anti-aging given my age, I gave this face cream a try. It’s part of one of their newer lines, the Hyaluronic 3D line.

It’s a paraben-free, paraffin-free and colorant-free face cream which contains – you guessed it – hyaluronic acid. This is an ingredient that my skin tends to agree with, so I thought it was a good choice. The cream comes in a glass jar with a nice blue and white design and it contains 50 ml. The price was very affordable too – I think around 5 euros.

In fact, the cream is supposed to have an innovative formula, the triple hyaluronic acid system – hyaluronic acid extracted from the Konjac flower to act as a topical dermal filler, low molecular weight hyaluronic acid produced using biotechnology and hyactive, also produced through biotechnology.

I very much like the effect it has on my skin because my face feels very smooth and hydrated throughout the day and I think I see some improvement on the very fine lines I have around the mouth area. Although it absorbs fast into the skin, I think its thick consistency makes it an unfortunate choice for the summer, so I think I will stick with it only during winter.

Other than that, there’s not much to say about it. It doesn’t irritate my skin which can be an issue because I’m also acne-prone so some products simply don’t go well with this issue, but so far I’m using it for almost 3 weeks now and I didn’t have any breakouts.

So, if you’re on the market for some anti-aging face cream, you want something that contains hyaluronic acid and you come across this face cream, I think you should give it a try. I think it does a pretty good job.
