It’s yet again time to say goodbye to some products that I have tested or that I have used up, but that weren’t that exciting to receive a dedicated post for them. So now here are the products that are leaving my collection and I will most likely not repurchase again.

Montaigne Jeunesse peel off masks
The brand Montaigne Jeunesse is known is certain countries as 7th Heaven and they are specialized in making one-time use masks for all kinds of skin problems. I tried a pack of 2 peel off masks. One was with lemon and green tea and the other with pomegranate and passion flower. They were basically the same, just the scent was different. You apply them on the skin, leave them for about 15 minutes and then you peel them off. I didn’t notice doing anything special for my skin and I have used cheaper alternatives, such as Balea face masks or different types from generic supermarket brand. In other words, they weren’t bad because I didn’t experience any irritations or other types of issues, but the results were not wow.

Bione Bio Coconut Body Milk
This was a huge 500 ml bottle of body milk with coconut oil, water lily oil, allantoin, vitamin E and tea tree oil. It doesn’t contain parabens or silicone. This is a Czech brand who has very cheap products, so I figured I would buy a big bottle because it will last me a long time and I like coconut scented products. I’m not very picky when it comes to body lotions, because I don’t have any skin issues on my body and I just slap some lotion on from time to time, 2-3 a week but not regularly because I’m lazy. Anyway, I disliked this body so bad because it has the most synthetic and nauseating coconut scented that I have ever smelled in my life. And it’s not just an exaggeration. The body milk was also very thick, so it lasted a long time, but it also absorbed slowly into the skin so I would recommend anyone to use it in the morning when you have to go to work or school or do your usual activities. It’s a hard no from me and I will avoid it in the future.

Yves Rocher Hydra Vegetal Radiance Exfoliating Gel
I had a 30 ml travel size that I bought when I did some shopping in a Yves Rocher store in Vienna to try it out. It’s a clear gel with very fine microparticles, that provides a gentle exfoliation, so I think it would be suitable even for those who have sensitive skin. It contains bamboo micrograins, Edullis cellular water, and the ingredients are 92% from natural origin. I liked it, although it’s not intended for daily use, just 2 times a week. I’m not sure what the price for the full size, I know I paid 2 euros for the travel size one, but if I place an order sometime and the product is on sale or something, I would pick it up.

Yves Rocher Mango and Coriander Energizing Hand Soap
There’s not much to say because it’s just a liquid hand soap. It’s clear, it has a pleasant scent and is very foaming without overdrying the hands. It contains aloe vera gel from organic farming, coriander essential oil, and mango extract. It’s paraben free and ethoxyl free, and is biodegradable. I received it as a gif with a purchase, but the full retail price is around 2,5-3 euros. My only complaint is that the bottle, although it comes with a pump, is quite small – just 190 ml. So, from that point of view, I don’t’ know if you would buy it because in our household such a small bottle is done in about a week, a week and a half.

L.A. Colors Color Craze nail polish
I had this nail polish in the color Ocean Mist, a glittery turquoise nail polish that can be used as a topper, but I used it mainly on its own, applied in 2-3 coats. It’s a rather large bottle – for me – as it has 13 ml and I had to throw it out because it was completely dried out and old. I don’t even think they make this color anymore because I didn’t find it on their website. L.A. Colors products are very affordable and so was this nail polish but the quality wasn’t that great. I usually chipped on me after 2-3 day, even if I applied a top coat and tried to avoid making things that would damage my nail.
That’s it for now, these are the products that I tried, used or decluttered lately from my collection.
