I know it’s hasn’t been even a month but I don’t like to keep empty packagings laying around and I also don’t want to write long posts because who’s gonna have time for that, right.
This series is about products that I’ve used up and weren’t that exciting enough to write a separate blog post about and some samples I’ve been using.
Yves Rocher Elixir Jeunesse Repair + Anti-pollution Restructuring Care

I’ve had this sample for some time and I decided not to keep it for vacation because I don’t want to test new products when I’m relaxing and being carefree. The face cream was ok, maybe it could have been a little lighter. I can’t say I saw some terrific effects during the few days that I’ve used it or at least not enough to impress me. Plus it’s Yves Rocher and for now, I’m avoiding this brand for reasons I will go into further details within an upcoming post.
Balea Peach Love shaving gel

The reason I don’t write separate posts about Balea products is not that they’re available only in DM stores because I decided to write about products that are available to me, in Romania, I can’t keep up with big international bloggers. But the problem is that Balea products are also limited edition – most of them. So there’ no point in writing about them if they’re not even available anymore.
This is a shaving gel for sensitive skin, with peach and lemon scent that I bought on sale because it was a limited edition product that I assume was in stores during summer. I quite liked it because the shaving went smooth and easy and the skin felt very nice after using it. For those who wonder, I shave my legs because it’s the fastest and easiest method for me.
Balea Schonheits Geheimnisse Color Protecting Shampoo

This is a very affordable shampoo – like all Balea products – but unlike the shaving gel, it really isn’t that good. It contains red poppy extract and no silicone, but I also got dandruff. I don’t know if it was just the shampoo’s fault because I was also very stressed during the last months, but I’m not willing to try it again because it wasn’t that good either way. My hair was shiny and it had volume but it also felt a little dry, so I don’t know how it’s supposed to help with colored hair.
Dove Caring Hand Wash

This is probably boring because the large majority of people is familiar with Dove products and this isn’t a new product. I just wanted to add this refill pack here because Dove body care products are among my favorites and this hand soap makes no exception. My hubby likes it as well, so it’s a good choice for our household.
Oriflame Frosted Berry Cake Soap

I got this for Christmas and I’m fairly sure it’s limited edition. I don’t get a frosted anything scent from it, just a little fruity maybe. It’s kind of like a glycerin-based soap but not as soft if that makes any sense. I don’t find it creamy enough to use it for the body, but I put it to good use as a hand soap as well.
These are the random beauty products I’ve been using and testing lately, and from all of the above I really liked the shaving gel – I already bought a shaving from Balea – and I’ll most likely use the Dove liquid soap again in the future. The shampoo it’s a big no and the Oriflame soap and the Yves Rocher cream were just not as good to make me buy the products on my own.
