When you have thin hair like me, you always want to add some more texture and volume. At least I want to regardless if my hair is short or long, but especially now that I have a medium length and the hair tends to be dull when I don’t use any styling products. Since I’m not a fan of gels and mousses for my hair because they’re usually too sticky, I decided to try a volumizing spray. My favorite shampoo and conditioner are also from L’Oreal, the Fibralogy line, so I figured I should try some of their styling products as well.
The spray comes in a 150 ml bottle and it can be used just like any hair spray. It contains vanilla extract and it has a very pleasant scent. I shake it well, spray some on the roots and then I use my hands to style my hair. There is no white residue (and I have dark hair so it would show immediately) and the hair doesn’t feel sticky or rigid.
The effect is instant. I don’t know how this spray works, but it adds a lot of volume and I look like I had a blow dry at the hair salon when I use this. However, don’t count on it to last for the entire day. I would give it a solid 4-5 hours, but I still love it because it’s so easy to use and the hair looks naturally styled. I haven’t tried it with different hairstyles that involve hair teasing because I don’t like to tease my hair but on the bottle, it says it’s good for “big mane” styles, including for the “beehive” style.
I don’t remember the exact price, but it wasn’t expensive. I think I bought a bottle for around 6-7 euros, which is good considering the effect and the quality of the hair spray.
If you are like me and you like to have a natural finish and you don’t usually opt for styling products you should give this hairspray a try. The Stylista line also has other styling products as well such as a heat protecting styling serum, a beach waves hair mist, a styling cream for braids, a styling spray for curly hair and a styling wax for pixie hair cuts.
