I’ve heard so many good things about this hair spray that is supposed to be the secret weapon of many stylist for years, even for those who have to work on catwalk models. I bought the strong hold UV filter version, because it’s supposed to offer the much needed protection for colored hair.
The formula contains nutri-ceramide to repair damaged hair. However, I’m glad I bought only the 250 ml bottle and not the bigger one because I must say I’m not that impressed with it. Not because it’s a bad product and it’s not an expensive one being on the affordable side, but because I’ve heard so much hype built around it that I expected something…more.
It does a good job to hold my hair in place, especially when I pin it back or when I try to put it in a bun (as good as I can given the length), but other hair sprays have the same quality. It’s just as sticky as others and I don’t think you can remove it just by brushing your hair. I still feel like I need to wash my hair because it looks a little greasy.
Oh, and one last thing. I don’t think it makes my hair look shinier (this is one of the claims on the packaging).
Overall, I would say this is just like any other hair spray, nothing out of the ordinary. It’s not bad (like cheap hair sprays) but it’s also not extraordinary to make me consider it a “must have hair product” in my collection.
