It’s been a while now since I’ve done of these posts and now I had quite some products gathered that I used up or that I decided to throw away because I don’t need them anymore (and I can’t give them to someone else because they’re old, bad or it’s simply not hygienic). These are all products that are either from brands that I don’t think are interesting enough to talk about or products that are not that interesting such as basic bath and body care stuff. Let’s get started.
Balea body milk for dry skin

This is a very thick body milk, suitable especially for the winter season. I didn’t like it because it simply wouldn’t absorb into the skin and I felt oily so I would use it only at night. Even in the morning my skin was still a little sticky. It contains shea butter an perhaps it would be a good product for those who have very dry skin, but for me, it was just a pain in the ass. And I wasn’t too crazy about the smell either.
Avon Goodnight Sweetheart bubble bath

It had a night scent, something floral and it colored the bath water blue, but it wasn’t anything special. I didn’t feel like I pampered myself using this, you know? I don’t take baths during summer anyway because I prefer slightly warm showers, so I won’t replace it with anything else for now.
Balea face lotion for acne prone skin

It contains salicylic acid and zinc and it gives a little stingy feeling to the skin but I think it was too strong for my liking. It does contain alcohol and that wouldn’t be necessarily be a problem for me, but perhaps there was too much alcohol in it and I felt my skin a little irritated. I will certainly not be using it again.
Cien Sensitive intimate hygiene emulsion

I figured I would just include this here because it was really an ok product considering how cheap it is. It can be found in Lidl stores and it doesn’t contain alcohol or fragrance. It has lactic acid, D-panthenol, vitamins A, E and F (is that actually a vitamin???). Either way, it felt nice and I had no issues “downstairs” while using it. I’m currently at my second bottle.
Balea makeup wipes

I think these were some kind of limited edition ones because of the packaging. I don’t use wipes regularly, but when I have more makeup one I do use them to remove part of my face makeup before going in with my regular cleanser.
Balea Aqua eyes roll-on

This was an eye gel with algae extract that was supposed to help get rid of puffiness. I didn’t like it because I felt like it didn’t do anything. Yes, the roller ball feels nice and cool in the underye area, but I felt like I needed more hydration. Oh, and the puffiness was still there in the morning.
Balea Mint loves Apples lip balm

I do like these lip balms because they always come in all kinds of scents and they feel nice on the lips at a very low price. This one was a limited edition from last summer I think, and it had a minty and sweet scent at the same time.
Dior Forever Skin Glow foundation

Now it’s time to talk about some samples I’ve tried. I would have liked to say that this very expensive foundation is nothing special, but the one time I wore it I really liked it. I wore it during an event for more than 12 hours outside in the summer heat and it looked so nice, just like a second skin. The coverage was also decent, I would say it has medium coverage and it looked so natural and glowy without making me look oily. What can I say? If this foundation would be in my price range, I would definitely buy it!
Coach Platinum EDP and Dior Sauvage EDT

I also had two perfume samples that I gave to my husband. Until now, I never smelled a Coach perfume that I like and this one was no exception. Just your typical man’s fragrance similar to the ones you can find at the drugstore. The Dior one was a little more interesting but I can’t say it blew my socks away and my husband was not crazy about either of the two.
Mark Shadow Attract Eyeshadow Primer

Finally, I also threw away a couple of makeup products. This primer was simply not good. It felt sticky on the eyelid but it made my eyeshadow crease, so I don’t see the point in continuing to use it. I don’t know, I think Avon/Mark products were better in the past but now they’re just useless. At least, most of them.
Me Now Smooth Eyebrow Pencil

I didn’t use this eyebrow pencil at all. I got it as a free gift from some online store, but it smudges and it has a dark black shade that I just can’t use without looking like a clown. I don’t know anyone who has THAT black eyebrows. I tried using it as an eyeliner a couple of times but it made look like a raccoon, so it has to go.
So there you have it, these are some of the products that I’ve used up, tried out or simply decluttered from my collection. I would repurchase the Balea lip balm (I have others), the Balea makeup wipes and the Cien intimate hygiene emulsion (I did). I would love to buy the Dior foundation and I would absolutely not recommend the Mark eye primer, the Balea eye gel and the Me Now eyebrow pencil.
