I just love face masks! I like to use one every other day because it helps me feel relaxed and pampered after a long day at work. When Sephora launched their face masks with different textures, I was eager to buy one to see how they are.

I chose the hemp mousse mask not because of the hemp but because it’s supposed to be an anti-blemish face mask for most skin types and it’s also supposed to help with enlarged pores.

It comes in a 50 ml tube and it says it’s enough for only 5 applications, but I can tell you right now it’s gonna last me longer than that.

The mask comes in a tube and it does have a very mousse-like texture and a green color. However, if you leave it one on the skin, the mask acts just like any mousse, which means it almost absorbs into the skin.

The highlighted ingredient in this mask is the hemp extract from natural origin. Let me tell you one thing, it has a scent. I never used weed and I don’t have a problem with those who do, but I can’t stand the smell. It’s so strong and not pleasant at all, at least not for my liking.

Otherwise, the mask feels nice on the skin and my face feels soft and smooth, but I didn’t notice any improvement regarding blemishes.

Considering that I didn’t expect any fabulous results, I’m not too disappointed but I will certainly not repurchase it mainly because of the strong hemp smell.
