Nivea Skin Breathe MicellAir Rose Water review

All-focus

Since I noticed that astringent lotions are a little too much for my skin and I had some whiteheads popping out in my chin and forehead area, I decided to choose a milder lotion with calming effects. This micellar water has a biphasic formula because it contains rose oil and you have to shake it before you use it but I don’t use it to remove my makeup. I apply right after cleansing because I feel like it helps to calm my skin and to reduce some of the redness.

It’s suitable for all skin types because I think it’s something that can work for oily, dry, combination or normal skin. It may be a product possibly suited for sensitive skin as well, but it all depends on how sensitive you are and which ingredients you need to avoid.

The micellar rose water is available in big 400 ml bottles and it reminds of the Garnier micellar waters because you get such a large quantity at a very affordable price (around 4 euros). I use it in the morning and in the evening.

It has a rose scent, but it’s not too powerful so if you don’t like the rose scent (which I know it can be too sweet or even sickening for some people), I think this product is not too overpowering.

Compared to the Garnier micellar water that was a pretty disappointing product for me, the Nivea micellar water feels very nice on the skin and it leaves it smooth and hydrated. I would definitely say it’s worth checking it out, especially since it’s a very affordable product.
