Cosmetic Plant is one of the Romanian cosmetic brands I like a lot. I didn’t try many of their products, but what I had so far I liked. they don’t have anything innovative or unique in their line, but I think they’re products are using ingredients that are well-known for their benefits and you get a good quality product at a very affordable price.

This is the case of this eye cream. It’s part of their Green Tea line which is partly anti-aging because of the Q10 and and partly targeted towards oily and combination skin because of the green tea.

The ingredients list also contains a mineral complex (Ca,Mg,Zn and Cu), vitamins (A, E and B5) and natural ingredients (grape seed oil, wheat germs oil and almond oil). This is a vegan product. It doesn’t contain parabens or any coloring agents.

You certainly get a lot of bang for your buck because the slick glass bottle with a pump comes with 30 ml of product which is a lot for an eye cream. Double the quantity in most cases.

The cream is not too light and not too thick, so it absorbs fast into the skin. Needless to say you only need a tiny amount, like in the case of all eye creams. I payed only around 4 euros for an eye cream that will last me for many months, used in the morning and in the evening.

I didn’t noticed any effects regarding dark circles or puffiness, but there is some improvement in my fine lines in the eye corners, so I’m very happy with the results.

Some people say you don’t need an eye cream because you can just use the face cream, but I disagree. Having oily to combination skin, I tend to use face creams with a light texture or just gel creams especially during summer. They are simply not rich enough for the eye area, where the skin is much thinner and it can get dry. So that’s why I personally need and like to use separate creams.

To, sum it up, I don’t know if I’ll repurchase this particular eye cream in the future, but I will certainly try more stuff from Cosmetic Plant, because I think they’re awesome. Their Vitamin C Plus face cream that I used during spring was also not bad, I just think it wasn’t meant for my skin type.
