If you know me (and if you don’t, you find out now), I’m not very pretentious when it comes to the things I use, be it cosmetics, clothes or other types of items. However, even if I use mostly drugstore products I do have some particularities.

When it comes to eye makeup removers, I want them to work, I want them to not irritate my eyes and I prefer bi-phasic formulas because I think they are better than just oils (they are difficult to clean up afterwards) and more efficient than micellar water or other mild makeup removers in terms of removing mascara or waterproof makeup.

Since I do like Elmiplant as a a brand ( it is a Romanian brand), I figured I should try this eye makeup remover as well. It comes in a 125 ml bottle, which is a typical amount for eye makeup removers and it has a very affordable price (3-4 euros).

What the claims are for this product:

Elmiplant double action eye make-up remover is enriched with 100% natural almond oil that protects the eyelashes and the sensitive skin around the eyes.

Enriched with HYDRO NUTRIENT, that prevents skin dehydration while maintaining its smooth appearance and comfort.

What I have to say about this products is short and simple: it’s an ok affordable drugstore option, it removes the makeup but I don’t like how it feels on the eyes. I have a slight discomfort after using it, so I won’t be repurchasing this product again.

Therefore, I think I will go back to the eye makeup removers that I already like or I will try something else if I find products that seem interesting enough.
