I got this perfume in a travel size bottle (10 ml) from someone who traveled to the US because you can’t find these fragrances here. At least I didn’t see them in any stores, but who knows.
This is a citrus fragrance, the mandarin oil being the most powerful ingredient. Clean Beauty is a brand that takes pride in using sustainable ingredients such as this mandarin oil that is sourced from local growers in Brazil. The fragrances are also on the pricier side (the price for a full-sized bottle is 98 dollars) and the packaging is very minimalist – white labels on glass bottle and white cardboard packaging.
Ingredients:
Alcohol denat., parfum/fragrance, aqua/water/eau, glycerin, aloe barbadensis leaf juice, phenoxyethanol, limonene, linalool, geraniol, hydroxycitronellal, citral, citronellol
I don’t know how I feel about this perfume. I have it with me now because I’m currently on vacation and it seems like the perfect summer scent because it’s part of the citrus family, but for some reason I just don’t like it. It seems too sweet and too strong for me, although this is all a matter of taste because everyone else seems to complement me on it like “wow, that smells so nice, what are you wearing?” Granted, I don’t know if these are sincere compliments and people like the perfume or what they actually thinking is “that smells awful, what is it, so I know not to ever buy it!”
It’s has a very good lasting power on me and I definitely don’t need to reapply it, but I just can’t get over the strong scent. I will probably use it up anyway, especially while I’m on vacation because it’s convenient to just throw the small bottle in a purse or in my travel makeup bag. However, this is not a perfume that is up my alley and I would certainly not pay so much for a full-sized bottle.
