Batiste Dry Shampoo Plus review

All-focus

Batiste dry shampoos are certainly not something new on the market, but only now I decided to try one because I really need something to help me make it through the second day after a hair wash without having my roots looking oily. I picked up this extra volume dry shampoo recently because it was on sale and boy am I glad I did!

I have to say, this dry shampoo is awesome and I get now why everyone uses Batiste products. At first, I was afraid of the white cast it leaves behind (I know there’s a tinted version but I was afraid the color would look weird on my hair), but if you brush the hair thoroughly, there are no white residues left behind. Oh, and don’t worry about brushing out all the product away – the volume effect remains the same even after that.

Like any product there is also a downside. The dry shampoo makes my hair feel a little stiff, but I make sure to apply it mostly on the roots where it gets oily real quick.

It adds texture to my fine hair and it’s so easy to style. I just spray some on, rub it it, brush the hair and then I use my hands to fluff my hair up a bit and that’s all. Sometimes, I even use it on freshly washed hair just to add some volume when i don’t have time for a blow out or for other styling tools.

If you know me, you know I’m a cheapskate, but this is one of the few products I will repurchase even if it’s not on sale (but it doesn’t mean I won’t stuck up on it whenever I have the opportunity!).
