Tropicale Tentation by Yves Rocher EDP review

yves rocher tropicale tentation edp

I got this tiny guy (well it’s not exactly tiny because it’s a 20 ml travel size) when I placed an order on the Yves Rocher website and I was excited to try it out because it’s part of their new collection of perfumes.

Perfume notes: golden osmanthus flower and bitter orange peel.

This is a fruity fresh scent just like the name would give it away. It’s not exactly my type because I like floral perfumes instead of fruity ones, but I do have to say that it’s a nice combination. It’s a light perfume, something suitable for the summer and I wouldn’t see it as something sophisticate and elegant women would choose.

Considering that it’s not really on the affordable side (it sells for around 40 euros here), I would have expected it to have a stronger lasting power and to be more…unique. It’s not exactly a scent that you can say “oh, I know this perfume!”, so I don’t think it has the characteristics of a signature scent.

I’m glad I got to try it out, but it didn’t convince me to purchase a full bottle of this. I’m curious about other perfumes in this collection, but to be honest Yves Rocher perfumes are not really that different and they tend to have similar scents because they use mostly the same ingredients for all of them.
