One of the problems I have with my hair is that there are very few products that I can use. My scalp is very oily, but the ends of my hair are more on the dry side especially since I’m coloring it. Plus, I don’t particularly like shampoos targeted towards oily hair because it’s not soft and shiny after washing it. So, this Gliss shampoo seemed to be exactly what I needed on the paper.
It says on the bottle it’s a shampoo for long hair, prone to damage and with greasy roots. Exactly what I need, right? It also has keratin in it, so it makes the hair soft and shiny. But, and here comes a big but: it makes my scalp itch like crazy and I have to wash my hair every second day. And that if I also use some dry shampoo the second day or else it would already look greasy. I don’t know what it is, what my hair doesn’t like about this shampoo, but I need to try and find my favorite Elseve shampoo or to try and find another one that can deal with my problems.
Ingredients:
Aqua, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate, Sodium Chloride, Paeonia Lactiflora Root Extract, Amodimethicone/Morpholinomethyl Silsesquioxane Copolymer, Tocopheryl Acetate, Panthenol, Hydrolyzed Keratin, Prunus Armeniaca Kernel Oil, Disodium Cocoamphodiacetate, Cocamide MEA, Polyquaternium-10, Sodium Benzoate, Citric Acid, Parfum, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, PEG-120 Methyl Glucose Dioleate, Glycerin, Linalool, Benzyl Salicylate, Propylene Glycol, Limonene, Trideceth-5 Benzyl Alcohol, Hexyl Cinnamal, CI 17200
Although it has some nice ingredients like the peony essence, the keratin serum and those micro-repair lipids (what those are I don’t know), I can’t say that I recommend this shampoo for oily hair because it makes it look greasy pretty fast.
