This month I don’t have many beauty empties, but since they’re mostly bath and body products, I already filled my little empties basket, so I think it’s time to write some short reviews and throw everything in the trash.
Balea Endless Weekend Feeling Frozen Vanilla Shower Cream

Nothing special about it. It smells very nice but not too sweet like many vanilla scented products tend to smell. Like other Balea shower gels and creams, I bought it because the packaging was cute and because I knew it was going to be an ok product for the very affordable price.
Cien White Cotton & Jasmine Liquid Soap

Cien has started to bring out several limited edition products and this liquid soap was one of them. I think I paid around 1 euro for it. It had a nice scent, but it wasn’t that great because it could have a thicker texture and be more hydrating.
Borotalco Pure Clean Freshness Deodorant roll-on

Unlike the classic Borotalco deodorant that has a very nice powdery scent, this one smells bad, at least in my opinion. I doesn’t contain any aluminium salts which I like, but I would certainly not repurchase it because of the scent.
Balea Tea Tree Foot Cream

I really liked this foot cream because it gives this nice cooling sensation on the feet which is great after a long day or after walking around for a long time. Plus, the tea tree oil is supposed to help prevent foot fungus (that sounds so gross, right?) I will try and find this product again next time I’m in the DM store unless it’s one of their limited edition products.
essence Longlasting Eye Pencil

I had this pencil in the shade 02 Hot Chocolate and it was my everyday eye pencil for such a long time. It’s a retractable eye pencil in a very nice warm brown shade, perfect for everyday wear. It does smudge a little, but not too much and it doesn’t look bad even when it does wear off.
Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Nail Polish and essence Nail Art Special Effect Topper

The Sally Hansen one I got in a Marie Claire beauty kit and it’s this nice red shade. It’s called 680 Rhapsody Red. The color was nice and it lasted for a long time on the nails, but it’s a big bottle (14.7 ml) and now it’s just too old and thick to use it.
The essence one is basically some blue glitter in the 10 glorious aquarius shade that I got as a gift from a magazine and I just don’t use it. I don’t do nail art and it’s a pain in the ass to remove it when I use it all over my nails so it’s going into the trash.
Rare Flowers Night Orchid EDP by Avon and Amo Ferragamo Flowerful EDP by Salvatore Ferragamo

I didn’t like any of these perfumes so you see, that’s why perfume samples are useful. the one from Avon is too strong and too sultry for my taste, although I like orchids a lot. The from Ferragamo is just too plain I think. It’s just another flowery perfume and I tend to gravitate towards those kinds of perfumes but this one didn’t have that special something to make me want to add it to my collection.
So that’s all folks for now, these are all my beauty empties for the month of October.
