I know this is maybe a little pathetic but I do love all my eyeshadow palettes regardless how big or small so it’s a big deal for me to let the ones I like go. This little quad is soooooo old I don’t even know if it’s made anymore. I’m sure the formula is not the same even if it’s still available on the market. It’s my second oldest eyeshadow in my collection and it was also a gift from my cousin, so it’s even harder to let go of it. Plus, I got a lot of compliments when I wore it because the purple shades bring out the hazel color of my eyes.

This little quad is in the shade 13 Lavender Meadow and it consists of 3 purple shades and a light green one. As you can see from the swatches, the color payoff is not that great because the eyeshadows are expired by now. I hit pan on the lightest and on the darkest shade so now it’s really time to let it go.

The way used to wear this quad is the following: the lightest color applied all over the lid, the second color from the top applied in the cries, the dark purple shade in the outer corner of the eyes and a pop of green in the center of the lid. The only matte shade is the lightest one, while the others have a satin finish.
This ColorStay quad from Revlon was surprisingly good considering that drugstore eyeshadows were not that great when it came on the market. So I would definitely give other Revlon eyeshadows a chance, but it’s interesting that I don’t remember seeing their eyeshadows in the store.
So now, goodbye, my little friend. You did good and I will miss you!
