I don’t know what it is, but Polish cosmetics seem to be more and more present on the Romanian market and so I’m curious to try all kind of stuff that looks interesting. Recently, I was on a short city break in Brasov and I saw some fun face masks in a little shop so I decided to buy a few of them and to try them out. Just when I got home I noticed that all of them were made by a company called Marion Cosmetics. I think I found them in a shop with overpriced items because I saw these masks sold online for only half the price (around 1 euro) so I am a little sorry that I fell for a tourist trap, but what can you do, right?

Tropical Island Banana Jelly Mask
The mask does have the consistency of a yellow jelly and it contains banana flowers extract, lemon and centella asiatica. The mask, once applies starts to melt into the skin. You leave it on for about 10-15 minutes and then wash it off with warm water. the skin feels nice and smooth afterwards.
Tropical Island Watermelon Jelly Mask
Just like the mask before, this one also has a jelly texture, only it’s red. It contains watermelon and green tea extract. As for the effects on the skin, I would say it’s the same like the banana mask as it leaves the skin soft and smooth.
Marshmallow & Fruit Cake Foaming Mask

I couldn’t find any information on this mask on the internet and the packaging didn’t have anything in English written on it but it did say on the Romanian label that it contains blueberry extract. This was a cool one because it was one of those bubbly masks. You apply it on the skin and it starts to foam up and then it makes bubbles. When you’re all bubbled up, you gently massage it into the skin, leave it on for 10-15 minute and then wash it off with some warm water. This one also has a yummy cake scent.
I can’t say any of these masks amazed me, but they felt nice on the skin and their texture, although gimmicky was fun for a pamper session in the bathroom. I would pick some more up if I’m able to find them again because they’re fun and affordable.
