I used to have a couple of other Miel de Thym soaps (which are sold here in Romania by the Apidava company, hence the name on the packaging) that were mainly used for medicinal purposes by us, but this little one caught my eye because it sounded yummy to be honest.
The soaps are made in France and they come in this interesting hexagonal shape and are wrapped in a very simple packaging. They are available in small sizes and in large 100 gram bars. This chocolate and cocoa butter one smelled delicious! I kept it for a couple of weeks in my bathroom cabinet before I started using it and the cabinet smelled like chocolate every time I opened it.

And…that’s about it what I have to rave about this soap. I’m used with natural soaps not having a strong scent but I was hoping this one would be different because I like scented products in the bath. Unfortunately, as soon as I started using it, the smell wear off quickly and now it doesn’t smell like anything and it doesn’t leave a vague scent on the skin either.
I wish the formula was more hydrating because now I use it only to wash my hands as I find that the skin feels too dry after using it. It doesn’t lather up much, which is also common for natural soaps.

I like using natural products,(or as natural as possible) on my skin, but unfortunately most of the times I feel like they’re missing something to make the experience of using them more enjoyable. This honey-based soap also makes no exception and I’m sorry to say I don’t think I feel like trying other soaps from this line again.
