Day 4 came with another eye product (full size), this time an eye pencil. I must admit I’m not a big fan of kajal pencil because they’re usually the ones you have to sharpen, but every now and then I enjoy the way they apply. This eye pencil has a beautiful warm brown shade, that is very suitable for everyday wear instead of those harsh black pencils that usually come in advent calendars.

I also appreciate the winter-themed design, with the little snow flakes on the pencil, so I give them props for the fact that they tried to make the products from the advent calendar a little more special. I wore it already and it lasted pretty good considering that I had very watery eyes because of a cold. This eye pencil has a retail price of 4.90 lei (1.04 euros)

To be honest, the product from the 5th day was the most disappointing one so far. It’s just some nail stickers (25 of them to be more precise). I don’t use nail stickers and I find them to be something that only kids would use. The stickers have a retail price of 7.29 lei (1.55 euros).

Given that today is Saint Nicholas’ Day and we celebrate it here in Romania with a tradition of getting small gifts in the boots in the morning from old Saint Nick, I expected something special in the 6th box and I was not disappointed.

This is a golden – peachy highlighter, not too blinding so you can wear it for everyday occasions. It’s very soft and easy to blend and I’m very happy with the gift I got today. It’s a full size product, but I can’t find the exact price because it’s a limited edition highlighter made for the advent calendar. The highlighter from essence’s LE Christmas collection has a retail price of 20 lei (4.25 euros), so I’ll go with that.

So, these last 3 days were actually even better than the first ones, because although I don’t have any use for those nail stickers I love the highlighter and the eye pencil, so it’s all good. The 3 products (all full size) have a retail value of 6.84 euros, which brings us to a total value of 11.72 euros for the first 6 days. Like I said before, it’s not bad but also not an amazing value. I do like the cute designs and the fact they have some LE products in the advent calendar, so it feels a little more special.
