Day 7 came with another nail polish, which I expected since I know in these advent calendars there are usually 3-4 nail polishes. This one is a classic bright red one, with another cute design on the bottle. It’s in a mini size (5 ml), so it also has a retail price of 1.25 euros.

I applied two coats and usual with a base coat and a top coat. By the way, the golden glittery one lasted for just about 3 days on my nails before it chipped, but I do a lot of housework with my hands and I always forget to wear some gloves, so that probably has something to do with it. Don’t mind the messy application as I forgot to clean up my fingers before I took the picture. Sorry about that.

So what goes perfect with some red nails? A red lipstick of course. I don’t even mind getting red lipsticks in advent calendars because I like wearing them throughout December. It’s probably the only time of the year when I’m bold enough to wear red lipstick all the time. This is another exclusive item for the advent calendar so it doesn’t have a shade name, on the black tube it says just “Believe in the power of lipstick”. It’s a full size product (3.8 grams) and velvet matt lipsticks have a retail price of 12 lei (2.55 euros).

Don’t mind the swatch, it’s not a shiny lipstick but I had to use my phone light because it’s so cloudy here these day that I didn’t have enough natural light to take a good picture.

Today I found this lip liner in the box for the 9th day. It’s a very nice nude-taupe color and it’s a full size product. I usually don’t use lip liners but someone gave me the idea to use lip liners all over the lips and top it off with some clear lip gloss and I think I’m going to try that, especially since this is a color that I like and I think it suits me.

The lip liner has a retail price of 5.90 lei (1.25 euros).It also has a slightly different designed, with some snowflakes on it and it’s basically a lip pencil because you have to sharpen it.

These last days have not been bad at all as I got 2 full size products and one mini sized product (which was the red nail polish and that’s good, I never ever finished off a nail polish bottle). All 3 products are products that I will use quite frequently.

The total value of the products is 5.05 euros, which brings our total so far for the first 9 product from the advent calendar to 16.77 euros.
