Used-up and tested #15 – beauty products leaving my collection

All-focus

Since we’re in March already and today is a holiday in Romania called “Martisor” where we celebrate the beginning of spring, it’s the perfect time to do some clean up. Like I said before, I’m working on using up my non cruelty free products, so don’t be surprised if you will see some of these things pop here and there for a while.

Balea Cosy Thailand shower gel

All-focus

I love my Balea shower gels because they come in so many fragrances and they are so cheap, so I can try lots of them This one smells like coconut milk and lotus and I really liked the exotic combination.

Dove Fine Silk Caring Hand Wash

All-focus

I’m so sorry to see my Dove products go, but unfortunately it has to be done. This liquid hand soft does feel so nice on the skin and it has a very pleasant scent, but I won’t repurchase it.

Dove Powder Soft Body Spray

All-focus

Another Dove product that is leaving my collection is this body spray, but I won’t miss it because it didn’t really help keep my under arms dry even now when it’s not that warm outside. It doesn’t irritate the skin and it has a pleasant scent though.

Nesti Dante Relaxing Lavanda Soap

All-focus

Nesti Dante is an Italian brand that makes these cool soaps with natural ingredients. They are a little on the pricy side, but the soap bars are huge and they are really nice. The brand is also cruelty free. This lavender soap smells wonderful and I very much enjoyed using it.

Cien sheet masks

All-focus

Unfortunately Lidl stores don’t carry these at all times and they were only limited edition products, but let me tell you I was quite impressed with these sheet masks. One is for dry skin (with pomegranate extract, hyaluronic acid and collagen) and one for normal and combination skin (with green tea extract, allantoin and hyaluronic acid), but I used them both and I liked them very much, especially considering that they were only about 1,5 euros each. Both masks had these cotton sheets soaked in product that were a very good fit for my face and I didn’t have any problems leaving them on for 10-15 minutes while I was doing something else. My skin felts so smooth and it looked radiant after using them, even better than when I used other more expensive face masks. I would highly recommend these if you see them and I will certainly buy some more if I see them again in Lidl stores.

Fraulein 38 makeup brushes

All-focus

I kept these for so long because I wanted to have the complete set, but honestly the entire set is not that great because the brushes are not soft enough and don’t pick up product as well and these brushes I don’t use at all. One is a lip brush, and the other two I think are just eye brushes, but I never ever use them so there’s no point in keeping them in my collection.

So that’s it for this chapter. There weren’t many products that I used up last month except for the samples that I already did my reviews on in the last updates.
