As you probably know by now, I think essence mascaras are some of the best drugstore mascaras and they’re also very affordable. So, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that my current mascara is also from essence, since I used up the one I received in my advent calendar (from the same brand).
Packaging:
It comes in a basic packaging, in a plastic tube, it’s purple with white and black writing on it.
Texture:
I like that it’s a mascara that is not too thick and not too fluid, something in between. Very thick mascaras are usually a little more clumpy, and I’m not a big fan of the spider lashes look. I like thick and long lashes, but not those that make the lashes stick together.

Ingredients:
AQUA (WATER), CERA ALBA (BEESWAX), PARAFFIN, GLYCERYL STEARATE, STYRENE/ACRYLATES/AMMONIUM METHACRYLATE COPOLYMER, ORYZA SATIVA (RICE) CERA, BUTYLENE GLYCOL, PALMITIC ACID, ACACIA SENEGAL GUM , POLYBUTENE, COPERNICIA CERIFERA (CARNAUBA) WAX, AMINOMETHYL PROPANOL, STEARIC ACID, NYLON-12, PHENOXYETHANOL, VP/EICOSENE COPOLYMER, TOCOPHEROL, DIMETHICONE, POLYESTER-4, ETHYLHEXYLGLYCERIN, SODIUM LAURETH-12 SULFATE, CAPRYLYL GLYCOL, TETRASODIUM EDTA, POTASSIUM SORBATE, SODIUM DEHYDROACETATE, CI 77499 (IRON OXIDES)
Price and accessibility:
Like all essence products, this one has a very affordable price, somewhere around 4 euros in DM stores (but you can find it online for cheaper). essence products are available in various online shops and in DM stores here in Romania.
My overall opinion:
The brush is supposed to contain lengthening fibers and I can say that it distributes the product easy and evenly on the lashes. Despite its name, this is not one of those mascaras that has fibers in it, that come off in small pieces. It’s not a waterproof mascara, so I had some small incidents with my very watery eyes. For the price and for the texture and the wand (I like both), I think this is a good mascara and I would repurchase it again.
