Let me just say if it’s one thing I’m thankful about being subscribed to the Lookfantastic beauty box it’s that they introduced me to the brand Madara. I loved their eye cream, which lasted me for a long time and now I got to try a generous mini of this face cream (25 ml, which is half of the full size product) and now I can say I’m really in love with Madara products and I want to purchase some on my own when there’s a sale in some online shops or something. This night face cream is bomb dot com and I will tell you why.
Packaging:
The full size product comes in a bottle with a pump, but my mini-sized one came in a tube. Which is fine, I didn’t mind. The design is simple and elegant, like all their products. I appreciate the fact that it’s made from recycled materials, which is very suitable for organic skin care products.
Texture:
Although this is meant to be a deep moisturizing night cream, it doesn’t have a rich, thick texture, which I appreciate since I have combination to oily skin. It absorbs fast into the skin without making it look shiny or oily. It has a subtle lemon or citrus scent which I find very pleasant.

Although it contains alcohol it doesn’t irritate the skin. I like the inclusion of rose water (one of my favorite ingredients), jojoba seed oil, avocado oil, shea butter, calendula flower extract and chamomile flower extract.
Price and accesibility:
It’s somewhere in between in terms of price. I mean, for 31 euros it’s one the pricier side, but since you use it only in the evening, a full size bottle can last for at least two months. I have my mini face cream since two weeks when I got my beauty box and I have about half a tube to use up. It’s a little more expensive, but if you can get a deal on it, I’d say it’s worth it because the quality is there. Madara products are available in various online shops, including here in Romania.
My overall opinion:
I just love this face cream. I don’t know what it does or how it works, but I always look so well rested in the morning since I use it, even if there are days when I’m stressed out or I can’t get enough sleep. The skin also feels so moisturized and plump, without being oily. I also feel like Madara products are great for improving those pesky fine lines.
For my part, since this is the second product that I love from Madara I will surely try more of this brand because I think the quality is there, I like their formulas and the overall philosophy of the brand. The product is cruelty free, vegan, gluten free and nut free, so it’s also good for those who are allergic to certain ingredients.
If you can afford it and you want to invest in some good skin care, I’d say you should definitely try this night cream and this brand.
