Since I started to use to products that I received in my Summer Mystery Box from MioBio (which are slowly warming up on my), it’s time to do a short review on the liquid soap I got, also from Madara.
Packaging:
The liquid soap comes in a bottle with a pump and it contains 300 ml. The design is simple and clean, like all their other products.
Texture:
The liquid soap is white and it has a thick consistency which is why I decided to use it as a body wash, not just for my hands (especially since it’s more expensive, so I though it could also be good for this purpose. It smells nice, like something sweet combined with a floral scent (because of the jasmine flowers and meadowsweet). I can’t say I’m head over heels for the scent, but it is pleasant and I like to use things that smell nice in the shower.

Price and accessibiliy:
Like I said before, Madara products can be bought online, although there are also some brick and mortar stores that do sell them in Romania. This liquid soap is sold for 49 lei (or 10.50 euros on their website) but you can also get in on sale whenever they have a sale on all their products. It’s more than I would pay for a liquid soap or for a shower gel but I will give it credit where credit is due: it does feel nicer on the skin than the usual drugstore soaps or even body washes.
My overall opinion:
I use this liquid soap as a shower gel or as a body wash so to say. It feels moisturizing on the skin and it lathers up quite well. It also has a nice scent, meaning you can feel it in the bathroom but it’s not the kind of scent that’s “in your face”. So, I like it but I wouldn’t pay 10 euros for a product that I will use up quite fast. I also like the pump. It’s a minor detail but I appreciate the fact that the pump makes it easier to get out only a small amount of product instead of other pumps that squirt out too much.
The liquid soap is cruelty free, vegan friendly, gluten free and nut free. It’s another one of the Madara products that I like and i get why it’s more expensive than the cheap drugstore options, but it’s just not in my budget to spoil myself all the time with something like this. Other than that, this is a product that I would recommend.
