August was a long and hot month, so I can’t say I will miss it, but luckily I did get to go on vacation for a week so at least there was that. I don’t have that many products that I’ve used up because I had other mini sizes with me on vacation that I have already told you about. These are the products that were just “meh” so they weren’t worth reviewing.

Dove Nutritive Solutions Colour Care Conditioner

It was ok, but I didn’t see any special results while I was using it so I was not impressed.

Avon Senses Polynesian Paradise Aloha Monoi Shower Gel

This one was slightly better than the one I used up last month, but the coconut and tiare flower scent was kind of vague. Let’s just say I didn’t feel pampered in the shower.

Avon Perceive Oasis EDP

I used this perfume as an everyday one because it’s a floral one, with violet, white peony and musk notes. It was nothing memorable or special. Also, I didn’t like the bottle.

Trend It Up Nail Foundation

This was a colored base coat that I got on sale from DM, but I didn’t get to use it much because it was already old (that’s why it was on sale I guess). I had to throw it away because I couldn’t use it anymore.

Fraulein 38 Packing Eyeshadow Brush

I replaced this eyeshadow brush with a new one from essence because this one was just too stiff and I had a hard time packing up the eyeshadow on the eyes, regardless of the type of eyeshadow used.

I liked this palette in the beginning, but now I decided to declutter it. I tried to bring myself to use it, but all the looks that I try come out red in tone. It actually looks better in the pan than on the eyes, because no matter how much I try to mix them, I always end up having red eyes. And I just don’t like how I look with red eyes. So, I’m sorry but it had to go.

Polaar Very High Protection Sun Cream SPF 50+

I used it both on the face and on the body and I had no problems with breakouts or anything else.I can’t say how effective it is, because I didn’t go to the beach or stay much in the sun, so I didn’t get any sun burns. Also, it doesn’t leave a white cast behind.

Mio Sun-drenched Body Wash

This was nothing special to be honest. It has a nice orange scent, but it’s no different than any other shower gel that you can pick at the drugstore.

In addition to these products and samples, I also used up an Avon spray deodorant while I was on vacation, but I didn’t bother to keep the packaging. It wasn’t anything to write home about it.

So this were my few beauty empties for this month. I think I’m going to get rid of some more makeup items in September, after I reevaluate their place in my collection.
