Mossa Juicy Shake 2-Phase Eye Makeup Remover review

I got this makeup remover in my MioBio Mystery Summer Box and I didn’t know anything about the brand Mossa, but now I know they’re a sister brand of the Latvian Madara Cosmetics company. Therefore, I’m not surprised that I like it very much and that it’s perfect for my sensitive eyes. Mossa products are heavy based on fruit extracts and this makeup remover is no exception.

Packaging:

The makeup remover comes in a plastic bottle and it has a cute design, with sea buckthorn and raspberries printed on the label.

Texture:

Being a 2-phase makeup remover, it’s part oil, part water-based liquid, so you have to shake it well before you use it to mix the two components. It doesn’t have any scent, at least none that I could smell.

Ingredients:

Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe) Leaf Juice Isoamyl Laurate Glycerin Sodium Chloride Aqua Tocopherol Sodium levulinate Raspberry Ketone Sodium Benzoate Caprylyl/Capryl Glucoside Lactic Acid Sodium phytate Capsicum Annuum (Paprika) Fruit Hippophae Rhamnoides (Sea-buckthorn) Fruit Extract Rubus Idaeus (Raspberry) Fruit Extract Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil Sodium Hyaluronate Citric acid Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosmarine) Leaf Extract Potassium Sorbate

I love the fact that the aloe leaf juice is the first ingredient on the list. It also contains sea buckthorn and raspberry fruit extract, sunflower seed oil and rosemary leaf extract.

Price and accessibility:

Mossa products are availabe in Romania (as far as I can tell) in several online shops, so they’re not hard to get. The makeup remover is sold for 9.95 euros, which is not exactly cheap, considering that it contains only 100 ml, but I think it’s an ok price considering the ingredients and the fact that it’s also suitable for sensitive eyes, which trust me, it can be a struggle to find something decent.

My overall opinion:

I’m glad I got this product in the mystery box and it sparked my interest to try more Mossa products as well, at least when they’re on sale. Like I said before, it doesn’t irritate the eyes and it does a good job on removing all the eye makeup, probably because it also has that oily component to it. To sum it up, I would repurchase this makeup remover again, but most likely only if I would buy some other things as well, because I would need to order it online. I forgot to mention that Mossa products are cruelty free and this makeup remover is also vegan.
