I needed a new beauty box like I needed a hole in the head, especially since I’m doing all my Christmas shopping these days to make sure I get all the packages on time. However, I couldn’t resist this offer. For only 140 lei (around 29 euros), this special edition box comes packed with 11 goodies. It’s a mix of skin care, body care hair care and 3 makeup items, so I just had to have it and I received it faster than my usual monthly box.

The box is a little bigger than usual, to fit all the products in it and it has a black and pink design. I had to pay for shipping, but I also received a 5.50 euro discount on the price as a regular subscriber of the box, so that was half of the shipment price. Unfortunately, the card with products presentation didn’t contain any prices, so I’m looking up what I can find on the Lookfantastic website or on the official website for each brand to make my total price estimation.

Dr. Dennis Gross C+ Collagen Brighten & Firm Vitamin C Serum (9 ml)

Yes, it’s just a mini size, but this is an expensive brand. I’m glad to have a vitamin C serum, as I like vitamin C products and I will use this in the morning, to brighten up the skin. The serum is made in the US. The full size serum is 30 ml and it’s sold for 446.35 lei, so this mini size is worth 133.90 lei (27.50 euros). So just the serum is worth almost as much as the box. Dr. Brandt Microdermabrasion (60 grams, full size)

Another expensive product and it’s a full size is this chemical exfoliant that can be used 2-3 times a week (but I will use it only once a week to last me longer). This is also made in the US and it’s sold on the official website for 79 US dollars (328.80 lei, 67.50 euros). That’s wow! I’m soo glad I got this box! Eyeko Mini Skinny Liquid Eyeliner Line & Define (1.8 ml)

Well, a black liquid eyeliner is nothing special to be honest, but I really like the Eyeko mascara that I got in a previous box (and only know I’m almost out of it), so I’m hoping this liquid eyeliner will also be a good addition to my makeup collection. The product is made in China. This travel size is sold for 38.2 lei (7.80 euros).

Limecrime Naked Cherry Lip Gloss (mini size, 1.8 ml)

It’s just a mini lip gloss but it’s so cute and I actually like mini lip products especially now since I rarely get to wear them. Plus, I didn’t try any Limecrime product so far. The lip gloss in made in the US. The full size is only 2.96 ml, so this is actually more than half. The full size product is sold for 17 UK pounds on Cult Beauty, so this mini size is worth 10.33 UK pounds (11.60 euros). Nuxe Prodigieux Body Lotion (30 ml)

This is not a full size, but it’s a generous size nevertheless. I think Nuxe products don’t any presentation. The body cream is made in France and it’s a nice treat, especially during winter. The full size is 200 ml and is sold for 104.53 lei, so the mini size is 15.67 lei (3.20 euros).

Mio Sleeping Smoothie Overnight Serum (30 ml)

This is an interesting product because it’s a serum for the body. Considering that Mio is a brand owned by the same company behind the Lookfantastic box, I find it odd that they didn’t include it in full size. The serum is made in the UK. The full size is 200 ml and it retails for 135.60 lei, so the mini size is 20.34 lei (4.20 euros).

AHC Essential Real Eye Cream For Face (10 ml)

This is basically a hydrating eye cream, but it can also be used for the face (for dry skin or dry patches). I will probably stick to using it as an eye cream because of the small size and because I have combination skin so this may be too thick for me anyway. The product is made in Korea, so I’m excited about that because I know Korean skin care is bomb. skyn Iceland Hydro Cool Firming Eye Gels

These are some cooling eye patches that are supposed to be great for depuffing the eyes. There is one pair in the packet and the patches are also made in Korea. I found these on the Lookfantastic website sold in packs of 8 for 141.25 lei, so one pack is worth 17.65 lei (3.60 euros). These I hope will be great for a pampering spa night at home.

First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream (28.3 grams)

This face cream is supposed to be great for those with dry and sensitive skin, but I’m gonna use it anyway as a night cream as I like to apply something thicker and richer in texture during the night to wake up with hydrated and plump skin in the morning. The face cream is made in the US. As far as I can tell, this cream is meant both for the face and body, so I have found it in different sizes. Living Proof Perfect Hair Day 5-in-1 Styling Treatment (30 ml)

Of course, there had to be at least a hair care item and I glad it’s something from Living Proof because I heard good things about them. I like trying out all kinds of hair products, so this one is a nice addition to the box. The product is made in the US. This is also available in several sizes, the biggest on Lookfantastic being 118 ml for 135.60 lei, so the mini size is worth 34.47 lei (7.10 euros). Revolution Pro New Neutral Blushed Eyeshadow Palette (full size)

Now, you know my opinion about Revolution Beauty palettes, I don’t think they have the best quality. But I figured hey, I haven’t bought a palette in years and they continue to expand their product range and they have distributors all over the place, including in Romania, so…why not, especially since the palette came in a beauty box. I will do a separate review on this, but all I can say is the palette has a nice, heavy packaging, the colors look beautiful, right up my alley and it retails for 67.80 lei (13.90 euros). Overall, the Black Friday Edit was an amazing box, really! And I think it’s still in stock on their website. For only 29 (or 30 euros, depending on the currency), I got 11 products worth 159.30 euros. Isn’t that amazing, that’s more than 5 times than what I paid for. I got an eyeshadow palette, a full size exfoliating product, travel sizes of a liquid eyeliner and lip gloss, mini sizes of all kinds of great goodies for face, body and hair and a pack of eye patches. I will definitely use all the products and there are some expensive brands in here as well. I think it was a great deal and I don’t regret it one bit. If they do something special for Christmas, I’ll sure get that one to.

They have all kinds of special edition boxes in collaboration with various brands, but to be honest I like to buy mixed brand boxes because I get to discover and try all kinds of new products, so this one was by far the best box they put out this year (in terms of special editions).
