Ho ho ho! Finally, December is here. After one of the crappiest years of my life, I feel like Deceber is that ray of hope, you know? There are Christmas songs, scented candles, decorations, presents, hot tea and cookies. What else could I ask for, right?
So, now let’s start with the first post of December, my November beauty empties, meaning the products I didn’t review or that I only had samples of so I didn’t think it was worth doing separate posts on.
Elmiplant Skin Control 3 in 1

This was a products that you can use as a day cleanser, exfoliator or as a mask. I used it as a daily cleanser at first at night, but once it got colder outside and my skin tends to have some dry patches during winter, I think it was a little too harsh for my skin, so I used it once or twice a week as a mask. This looks and feels like a clay mask, with some prebiotics, bamboo particles and lemongrass in it. I can’t say I didn’t liked it, but it also didn’t impress me much.
Elmiplant Multi-Collagen Antiwrinkle Day cream SPF10, IR & VL protection

This was an anti-aging cream very much similar to the Hyaluronic 3D one that I reviewed a couple of years ago. I used it mainly at night, because it has a rich texture and I think it would have been too much to use it in the morning. I like Elmiplant face creams for what they do for the skin, but they are a little to heavy for my combination skin and I think they make me look too shiny. But at night, I like to use them from time to time. This was also very affordable, around 5 euros, which is very good for the quality of the cream and of the packaging (it comes in a glass jar).
skyn Iceland Hydro Cool Firming Eye Gels

These were so much nicer than the Starskin ones I tried last time. The patches are made of a stretchy material, not like that tissue paper. They’re soaked with serum and are very easy to apply and more importantly they stick there so you can either relax and lay back or do other things while you are waiting. They also have a cooling effect which helps to depuff the under eye area.
Ultrasun SPF 30 Lip Protect

I got this lip balm in my June Lookfantastic beauty box and I didn’t liked it. It felt too waxy and stiff so I had to rub it one a lot to get some product out. I’m glad I managed to use it up, but I would certainly never repurchase it again.
Cien Invisible 48h Antiperspirant Spray

Like expected, this wasn’t a great antiperspirant spray and I don’t know what I was thinking when I bought it from the store. Cheap deodorants are never efficient.
Proderma cream

My mom gave me this as a hand cream, but I ended up suing it on the body just to use it up somehow. This is a Romanian brand that I never heard of before, but I think this is just some cheap cream despite the claims that it doesn’t contain parabens, silicone or dyes. However, maybe some parabens would have been useful because the cream was very liquidy like it had gone bad or something. I don’t recommend it.
Thisworks Perfect Legs Skin Miracle

I got this in last month’s Lookfantastic beauty box. Let us not kid ourselves, this is just a self-tanner. It doesn apply nicely and it looks natural, it’s no miracle cream, just a gradual tanning one.
Yves Rocher Botanic Color Eye Pencil

I can’t remember the shade of this, but it’s a shimmery midnight blue. You know, I came to the conclusion that I just don’t like pencil eyeliners, especially not those with a thick point. I can use something thinner in the waterline, but those thick crayons are not my style, not for the waterline nor for the lid because they always smudge on me.
Bourjois Little Round Pot Duo Blush

I got this a couple of years in a Marie Claire beauty box and I used it quite a lot, but there still seems to be much product in the pot. I have to throw it away because it dried out so bad (probably because it’s a baked formula) that I can’t seem to be able to pick up any product on the brush. It was a lovely subtle blush duo, but now I have to let it go.
I Love Makeup Revolution I Heart Chocolate Pink Fizz palette

I told you in my eyeshadow palette tag that this is my oldest palette and now I will finally let it go. I didn’t love the quality either and the shimmers looked more greasy than sparkly on the eye, so when the lid broke, it was finally time to say goodbye without any regrets.
That’s all for may November empties and decluttered items, so now let’s finally open the advent calendars. Oh, I also got advent calendars for my cats from the Lidl store, but they’re kind of boring because they have just small bags when treats in them. My cats seem to love them tho!
Let’s start with the Lookfantastic advent calendar. The first drawer is also the only one that is golden. Everything is rapped up in pink tissue paper and I love that!

Natasha Denona Mini Blush Glow Duo
The advent calendar definitely starts with a banger! This little duo blush contains 4 grams and it retails on the Lookfantastic website for 178 lei (remember, I paid 380 lei for the advent calendar), so there’s already almost half of the price of de advent calendar in just one product.

The packaging is gorgeous and the product itself is beautiful. I especially love the blush in the shade Golden Coral. The other seems to be a blush topper or a highlighter in the shade All Over Glow Light.

I’m not the biggest fan of highlighters but the blush looks gorgeous on me and I’m very happy to have it. I don’t know why they started the calendar with this and they didn’t put it in the 24th drawer, but that’s that.

Finally, I’m also currently enjoying my cup of tea with tea from the Cupper advent calendar.
Be Happy Cupper Tea

The advent calendar starts with a spicy tea: cinnamon, ginger, liquorice, fennel, orange peel, white hibiscus, black pepper and lemon peel. So now I will enjoy my tea. Thank you for stopping by and see you tomorrow!
