#Blogcember 2020 Day 5: My perfume collection 2020

I don’t know if I mentioned this before, but I love nice perfumes. And by nice I mean expensive ones. The truth is that there are plenty of nice affordable perfumes on the market, but they don’t have the same longevity and complex scent that expensive perfumes have. I can’t afford to buy expensive perfumes often and the ones I purchased where always bought when I could get some kind of deal. Also, they are all smaller sizes (30 ml) because I didn’t want to go over 40 euros for each one of them because that’s my budget limit for perfumes. I purchased them all after I had some samples and I fell in love with the scent so you see, that’s why I don’t mind that I receive perfume samples when I order something from a beauty store or if there is something in subscription boxes. That’s how I am able to test them and then I know what I want to get. These are my favorite perfumes so far and I have two more on my wish list but I know I will not get them this year. next on my list is L’interdit by Givenchy and Joy by Dior.

Black Opium by Yves Saint Laurent

I will not go in detail with this perfume because I already reviewed it on my blog, but what can I say is that I still like it and I think it’s a sexy and unique perfume and I have half of the bottle left, so I think I will repurchase it when I’m done with it.

La Mia Perla by La Perla

I know that a perfume released by a lingerie company wouldn’t seem to be that great, but I had a sample of this and I just fell in love with it. It’s very feminine, delicate and sweet without being sickening sweet. The perfume was first launched in 2017 and it’s an oriental-floral scent created by Honorine Blanc. The bottle is also very elegant and slick with the white bottle and gold accents. Top notes are mandarin orange and white pepper, middle notes are jasmine sambac, white peony, florentine iris, suede and ambergris, while the base notes are sandalwood and musk.

Chloe by Chloe

This also a perfume that I recently reviewed on my blog, so I won’t go into further details with it. It’s one of my favorites and I think it’s the floral mix that makes me happy just smelling it.

La Vie Est Belle by Lancome

A staple perfume for Lancome, this is the newest addition to my collection. I didn’t want to get a perfume now because I already have to buy gifts for my family, but it was on sale for 40% off at Douglas for Black Friday so I just couldn’t miss out on this deal. It’s another feminine perfume, delicate, unique and with an interesting mix of fruity and floral notes. La Vie Est Belle was created by Olivier Polge, Dominique Ropion and Anne Flipo and it was launched in 2012. Top notes are black currant and pear, middle notes are iris, jasmine and orange blossom and base notes are pralines, vanilla, patchouli and tonka bean. I know that what draws me to this perfume are the iris and orange blossom notes, as well as the tonka bean. I just love it and I’m so happy to have it in my collection.

These 4 are all the expensive perfumes that I have, well at least for me they are expensive, of course if depends on each person’s perception of what they think is too expensive. I also have two affordable perfumes that I put on when I’m just at home or I just go out for shopping or something because I don’t want to use up my more expensive perfumes so quickly.

Adidas for Women Fun Sensation

This is a fruity scent that smells nice but unfortunately it doesn’t last much on me. I think it’s good for what it is and I saw Adidas body fragrances in most supermarkets.

Woman by Elode

This is a dupe for Black Opium. Elode is a company that releases perfumes that are usually dupes for expensive fragrances. I didn’t keep the cardboard packaging, but even that was similar to the Black Opium one. Woman smells very much like Black Opium, but of course id doesn’t have the same longevity.

These are all the perfumes I have in my small collection, but like I said, I hope to add at least two more in the nearest future. And now let’s get to drawer number 5 from the advent calendar.

3INA Makeup The Cream Eyeshadow in the shade 532

Unfortunatley I don’t know what the shade name if for this because it doesn’t say on the packaging, but it’s a very nice bronzy color. I wore it today and it didn’t crease on my lids although I didn’t wear an eyeshadow primer. I did put some powder eyeshadow on top though, so I don’t know if that makes a difference. I didn’t know of this brand, but it’s always nice to discover new makeup brands. It’s not a full size because the full size contains 3 ml and this one contains only 2.5 ml, but it’s really not that big of a difference.

The full size product retails on the Lookfantastic website for 51.52 lei (it’s 14.99 euros on the official website), so the one I got is worth 42.84 lei. I don’t usually go for singles as I don’t even own any single eyeshadows anymore, but this one is a cream eyeshadow in a neutral colors, so I think I can mix it with various other shades from my palettes.

And finally, for today’s cup of tea:

Orange & Lemon Cupper Tea

Today we continued with the fruit infusions and I think the name itself is self-explanatory. It contains lemongrass, lemon beebrush, orange peel, lemon peel, liquorice and rose fruit. I liked it, it also smelled so like like oranges and lemons and these are two scents that I associate in my mind with the winter season, so it was a nice surprise.

And now I have to get my boots ready because tonight comes Saint Nicholas to visit and he will brings some treats to all of us who were good 🙂 See you tomorrow!
