I’m sorry everyone, today won’t be a blog post although I really wanted to be able to post something each day of December. I just had a really busy day and I don’t feel good and it’s already evening and I don’t have the time to think of something nice.

However, I will share with you at least what I got in the 8th drawer of the advent calendar.

Eve Lom Cleanser (20 ml)

I heard this Eve Lom cleanser was supposed to be very good because it melts your makeup away, so I was very happy that I received this product, although it’s just a travel size. I looked it up on the Lookfantastic website and usually the 20 ml size comes with a small muslin cloth (there’s an entire explanation on how you’re supposed to use this cleansing cream with a cloth on the packaging), but there was only the cleanser in the drawer. Whatever, it doesn’t matter because I used it just like any other cleansing balm: applied on dry skin, rubbed in and then rinsed with water. This cleanser was not at all how I expected it, especially since it’s so expensive. It contains clove oil, eucalyptus oil, chamomile oil and cocoa butter, but it smells awful, at least to me. It looks like those cheap natural handmade creams that I see at fairs where all kinds of small producers are trying to sell their stuff. When it’s something that expensive, I expect to have a special experience while using something like this. But it smells very herbal and it looks like a green paste. It just doesn’t look like something that was made by a prestigious brand, despite the fancy design of the packaging. Well, it removed my makeup and I will use it up, but I don’t like it because of the small. This small travel size cleanser retails for 101.70 lei.

I also made a cup of tea because I’m tired and I just want to go to bed.

Little Dreamer Cupper Tea

This is another herbal infusion, with chamomile, lemon balm, lavender, lemongrass, fennel, rose hip and green mint. I can sense mostly the taste of the mint, but I get why they combined all these plants, because they’re all relaxing and it’s supposed to help you get to sleep. I don’t need any help in this department because I’m already sleepy.

This is it for today, but I hope you don’t mind if I skip a day because I just decided too late to do blogcember and I didn’t prepare anything in advance and now I’m not able to do anything on the go.
