AHC is one of those brands that I had no idea it existed, but once I heard that it’s a Korean brand I was instantly intrigued because everyone says how amazing Korean skin care products are. It’s been a few weeks now since I use it in the morning and in the evening and it became one of my favorite eye creams.

Packaging:

The cream comes in an aluminum tube and it contains 30 ml (which may seem a lot, but since it can also be sued for the face….). I have just a travel size (10 ml), but the packaging is exactly the same: a simple silver tube with a narrow cap to squeeze out only small amounts.

Texture:

This is a white cream that has no scent and it looks and it feels just like a normal face or eye cream that has a thicker texture. It’s not a gel or a lightweight cream.

I can’t remember the last time I saw such a long ingredients list, so it’s no wonder that this cream really packs a punch. I don’t know how they did it, but they really mixed some natural ingredients with all kinds of great skin care ingredients.

Price and accessibility:

I didn’t see any AHC products here in Romania, but there are a few online shops that do sell them (those that are specialized in Asian or particularly Korean skin care). As for the price, this cream is somewhere in the middle. It’s not drugstore priced, but it’s also not that expensive, around 100 lei for the full size (a little over 20 euros), considering that a little really goes a long way.

My overall opinion:

I didn’t use the cream all over my face because it says on their website that it should be applied on dry patches or it should be used by people who have really dry skin. Since it’s not the case for me, I used it only on the eye. You know what? I feel like it does brighten the under eye area a little bit, it’s very hydrating without leaving an oily residue, the makeup applies without any issues on the lid and I think I even notice some improvements regarding the fine lines I have in the corner of my eyes.

All in all, this is one of my favorite eye creams and it’s something that I would purchase on my own (I got this in my beauty box). I think it’s a tie between the SYS eye cooling gel and this one, but I like both eye creams for different reasons. What can I say? I’m sold on this one and I would recommend it.

Sleek Mattifying Primer

Well, this day came with a beautiful surprise, a full size (20 ml) of this mattifying primer that I plan to use mostly on the eyes because I don’t usually wear face primer as I think that with the right skin care products, I don’t really need one. Sleek is a drugstore makeup brand, so this is not like a big value product, 33.86 lei on the Lookfantastic website.
