Finally, January is over. It’s one of the longest months of the year (at least that’s how it feels like) and it always just makes me sad because I think back on all the shit that happened the year before, how another year has gone by and I still couldn’t do anything to change my life for the better. Oh well. Is it just me that feels really depressed in January? At least now this month is gone and with it go all the empty bottles and jars and tubes and everything that I kept around just to show you briefly.
Nivea Volume & Strenght Mild Shampoo

This shampoo contains bamboo extract and it’s supposed to be good for fine or flat hair. While it does add volume to the hair, I must say it doesn’t do much for my oily hair. I think I really have a problem because it seems that no shampoo works anymore. I don’t know why, it’s probably stress or hormones or my diet or what it is, but I have oily hair and a very dry scalp. It’s a nightmare trying to find a shampoo that can make my hair look nice for more than just one day.
Borotalco Active Deo Spray

I don’t know why Borotalco can’t make any other deodorant that smells as nice as their original scent. This is supposed to be something with mandarins and neroli scent, but I find it to be too masculine and I wasn’t really a fan. At least, it is sweatproof, as far as I can tell.
Borotalco Original Deo Roll-On

Like I said, the Original one smells nice, regardless of the type of deodorant. I had this one, that has a creamy consistency and it does the job, just like the stick one. So far, I would say these Borotalco ones are my favorite.
Balea Intensive Foot Cream

This foot cream was good enough, because it contains some exotic oils and butters, but my favorite would still be the one that gives that cooling sensation.
Molton Brown Delicious Rhubarb and Rose Bath Shower Gel

I must give it to them, these Molton Brown shower gels are great when it comes to products that last a long time. This one also had a nice smell and a tiny 100 ml bottle goes a long way (I used it sparingly but even so). I still wouldn’t purchase these on my own, but they’re always nice to pamper myself in the shower.
Mio Clay Away Body Cleanser

Don’t follow my lead, but I used this cleanser as a quick clay mask for the face. I had only a travel size so I figured it wouldn’t do much for the body, so I used it for the face. It does contain some eucalyptus so it also feels cooling on the skin and it had that specific scent to it. but it didn’t ruing my face or anything and for my acne prone skin I think it was ok to use once a week.
Balea Iced Berries Lip Balm

I cant’ remember when I got this one, but it was a nice lip balm with a little bit of shimmer in it, so I liked using it on daily basis. I like Balea lip balms for the price, I think they’re really nice.
Starskin Hollywood Hand Model Mask

I was a little disappointed with this mask (it was basically serum soaked in some gloves) because I wanted to keep the gloves on for the night and have smooth skin in the morning. But since the serum was a liquid, I had to remove them after a while or my fingers would have turned into prunes. The effects were not that great. I think I’m better off with applying a thick layer of hand cream and some regular thin gloves over night.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz

I got a sample size from Sephora and I’m sure everyone heard about the famous Brow Wiz pencil. It was good, because it didn’t smudge or anything but the color was off for me. I have really black eyebrows and this one was a warm brown one.
L’Oreal Perfect Slim Superliner

The only product I’m decluttering is this point tip eyeliner from L’Oreal because I had it so long that it dried up. I just recently started being confident in my skills to apply eyeliner almost every day, so this one dried up on me. It wasn’t a great eyeliner anyway, because it smudged even if I was able to draw on really fine lines with it.
That’s it from me for this month. Nothing exciting or anything, but I still went through a few products.
