This month, there were just a few beauty products that I used up and that I didn’t already review, so it’s kind of suitable, considering that February is a short month. All I can say is that I’m ready for spring and I hope that the new season will bring some beneficial changes in my life.
Farmona Ginger Cookie Shower Gel

I got this shower gel sometime during the holiday season because I love everything that smells like gingerbread. Unfortunately, the scent wasn’t that great because it did have an “unnatural” smell to it. Other than that, it was an ok shower gel, but nothing that blew my socks off.
Balea Dry Shampoo for brunettes

I picked this dry shampoo up because I thought it would be great for dark hair as it wouldn’t leave that white residue on the hair. While colorwise it was a good choice, the dry shampoo itself wasn’t good because I didn’t feel like it refreshed my hair on the contrary. It was like spraying too much fixing spray on the hair and it made it look tangled and dry. I didn’t like it at all.
Momopuri Milk Jelly Mask

This was a mask that was really good because it contained a lot of product. There was plenty of serum to soak up the sheet mask and even some more in the sachet. It did feel very hydrating and made my skin feel moisturized, just like you would expect from a good sheet mask. I like it more than the Starskin masks, that’s for sure.
Douglas Home Spa Sea Thalasso body lotion

This was just a small sample but I like the body lotion because it absorbs fast into the skin and it has a really nice, fresh scent.
Neutrogena Hydro Boost face cream

I couldn’t do a review on this because it was only a small sample sachet, but I noticed it has a gel texture, a subtle fresh scent and it works for oily skin because it’s not too thick.
Thank U Next EDP by Ariana Grande

I feel like all the Ariana Grande perfumes I have tried so far have the exact sweet smell. It’s not necessary a bad thing, because I like how they smell, but there is no variation. I had the Ariana Grande perfume, then the Moonlight perfume and now this one and I just feel like the smell all the same.
Revolution Beauty Reloaded Lustre Lights Highlighter Palette

I decided to declutter this highlighter palette from my collection because I have it for more than a year now and it’s barely touched. The powders are all just like glitter bombs on my face and it’s not the type of formula that I like. I like more subtle, glowy or shiny highlighters and not these glittery ones. Also, two of the most darker colors were just too dark for my skin as a highlighter and too warm and glittery to use them as bronzers. Since it’s useless to me, there’s no point in keeping it in my makeup collection.
That’s all for this month, I don’t expect to have a lot of stuff to report back on in March because I’m cutting my beauty purchases during this time and I stick to things that I already have or that I know I like and I don’t want to repeat myself.
