I can’t believe the month of March came to an end, it feels like everything is so hectic and I don’t know where the time flies. So, there are some of the products I used up this month and that I don’t think are important enough to review, as well as some makeup items that I decided to declutter because they were old.
Balea Coconut and Shea Butter Body Lotion

I had a big bottle of this affordable body lotion (400 ml) which was ok and I like the smell of coconut, but my only complaint is that it doesn’t absorb fast into the skin so it’s definitely something to use only in the evening.
Douglas Clear Focus Purifying Clay Cream

I liked this cleansing cream very much because, unlike other clay-based skin care products, it felt very gentle and not drying at all on the skin. I got this product in my Douglas Box of Beauty and I would recommend it for oily or combination skin but the only reason I didn’t review it is that I think it’s discontinued, as I couldn’t find it available on any Douglas website, including on the Romanian one.
Polaar Ice Pure Micellar Water with Arctic Cotton

I found this micellar water horrible just because it irritated my eyes and I want to use micellar waters on the eyes to, to remove my eye makeup before I do a proper face cleansing. I used it anyway because it was just a travel size (50 ml), but I wouldn’t purchase it on my own and I wouldn’t recommend it because I don’t think it’s better that any drugstore options.
Avon Luxe Cashmere Complexion 2 in 1 Foundation

This was supposed to be a 2 in 1 product as in a primer and a foundation at the same time. I think it would be more suitable for dry skin, but I didn’t like it because it made me look oily. Also, the foundation wasn’t transfer proof, which I would expected since it was supposed to work as a primer as well. It was a dud, but I used it here and there more like a concealer on my occasional blemishes or red spots.
Balea Pink Pineapple Foot Cream

I liked the cute tin packaging of this cream and the pineapple scent and it did feel quite nice on the skin. I would have preferred something more rich in texture for my feet, especially during the winter but it was an ok product.
Cien Skin Foodies Cleansing Mask

I had a couple of this masks that I found in Lidl stores and I quire liked them to pamper myself once a week. it’s actually a two-step process. First, you apply the white clay and rosemary mask and you leave it on for 10-15 minutes and then you rinse it off and the the papaya extract face mask that has a gentle exfoliating effect that you leave on for 10-15 minutes and then you rinse off. The papaya one smells so nice and fruity that I wanted to eat it (of course, I didn’t because it’s not edible). They’re both vegan and contain 90% ingredients from natural sources and at around 1 euro for the pack of both masks, you really can’t go wrong.
Revlon Super Lustrous Lip Gloss

I finally decluttered this lip gloss in the shade 042 Bellini because it was really old and it didn’t feel safe to put on the lips anymore. I liked the moisturizing feel of this lip gloss, but the color would only work on me when I had a little bit of tan on, so I didn’t get to use it up completely.
Sleek I-Divine All The Fun Of The Fair Eyeshadow Palette

This one I decluttered because I hit pan on some of my favorite shades (Twister, Dodgems, Swing Boats, Carousel) in the palette and because it was old and the eyeshadows were dry and there was hardly any color payoff on them so I had to put on a lot of product to actually see something and after that they would crease like crazy because there was just too much powder on my eyes. It was a fun palette but now it’s just time to say goodbye.
Sleek I-Divine Del Mar Vol II Eyeshadow Palette

I decluttered this as well for the same reasons as mentioned above. I hit pan on my favorite colors (Ushuaia, Puro) and because the palette was too old, the eyeshadows were dry and didn’t perform well on the eyes. It became a pain in the ass to use them.
Laura Geller Baked Eyeshadow Trio

I came to the conclusion that I just don’t like baked matte eyeshadows because they are too dry. While I like the idea of a small and compact palette for a neutral everyday look, I just don’t like using this palette anymore because I have enough neutral eyeshadows that I love and this was just laying there in my palette bin.
This is it for the month of March, I also did some spring cleaning through my small eyeshadow collection, so I’m curious to see what the month of April has in store for me. Thanks for stopping by!
