My first experience with false lashes feat. Eylure Light & Wispy False Lashes

I was always afraid to wear false lashes because I thought they would be very uncomfortable and they wouldn’t look natural. I got this pair of lashes in my Lookfantastic box and I decided to give them a try. I must say, that I was rather impressed and now I’m hooked.

Packaging:

The lashes come in a box with a sticky plastic item, that helps put the lashes back in after using. They are also marked to know which one is for the left eye and which one is for the right eye. There is also a tiny adhesive that contains 1 ml, which is quite enough for the recommended 5 wears.

Feel:

The lashes are very light and have a small band, so they are really not noticeable even if you don’t use tricks like popping on some eyeliner to cover the adhesive. These have a smaller length (3/4), so there is really no need to cut them off.

What they are made of:

Of course, these are false lashes that are not made of animal hair and I love that. they do feel like plastic, but they are so fine that they feel and look natural.

Price and accessibility:

From what I have seen, Eyelure lashes are available only in one online shop here in Romania, but nevertheless they are available. They are cheap, only around 4-5 euros, which is a good deal considering that they can be reused up to 5 times.

My overall opinion:

Even for someone so inexperienced as myself, it was very easy to apply the lashes. I just used some tweezers to apply them on the bottom of my natural eyelashes. The adhesive is latex-free and was very comfortable to wear. I felt like I had something on for about an hour, but after that, it was like I didn’t have anything on. This particular type of lashes is a very natural looking one, because they are not too long or too dense, so they blended in perfectly with my natural lashes. I didn’t find the No. 011 lashes on the brand’s website, so I don’t know if they were especially made for the Lookfantastic box or if they are discontinued, but I seen there are other similar lashes available as well, from the Fluttery Light line.

I can’t say that I put them to a heavy duty wear because there was no strong wind or rain or anything like that when I wore them, but the adhesive held up for the entire day, without having any issues. I liked the effect very much because my lashes appeared fuller and longer and it wasn’t noticeable that I had false lashes on. At least no one from the persons I told I wore false lashes had noticed it. So all I can say is that I liked them and I plan to wear them again on “special occasions” and I want to try some more from Eyelure.
