I was in need of a new moisturizer and since I decided to stick with what’s in my budget and opt for drugstore products, I wanted to try something that I could find only in Austria, to keep things interesting, you know? Well, things didn’t turned out exactly like that since this is a German product, but nevertheless it’s a brand that’s not available in our stores, so why not?
Terra Naturi is a generic brand that can be found in Muller drugstores, therefore it’s very cheap and it has a simple formula. But, since many cheap beauty products do turn out to be great gems and most of the ties you pay only for the brand’s name, I don’t regret my decision.
Packaging:
The face cream comes in a tube and it contains 50 ml.
Texture:
It has a lightweight texture, so I have to be a little bit careful, not to get out too much product in my hand when I use it. it also has a light scent, but nothing that would bother me. It looks and feels like a basic moisturizing face cream.
Ingredients:
AQUA, COCOGLYCERIDES, ALCOHOL, GLYCERIN, COCO-CAPRYLATE, GLYCERYL STEARATE CITRATE, HELIANTHUS ANNUUS SEED OIL, GLYCINE SOJA OIL, CETEARYL ALCOHOL, BUTYROSPERMUM PARKII BUTTER, VITIS VINIFERA SEED OIL, SACCHAROMYCES/LAMINARIA SACCHARINA FERMENT, SODIUM HYALURONATE, TOCOPHEROL, SODIUM LEVULINATE, XANTHAN GUM, PARFUM, LEVULINIC ACID, SODIUM ANISATE, LINALOOL, LIMONENE, BENZYL ALCOHOL, GERANIOL, BENZYL SALICYLATE
This is a vegan formula, that doesn’t contain silicone and mineral oils, synthetic dyes and synthetic fragrances and microplastic.
The key ingredients listed for this face cream are the algae extract, hyaluronic acid, glycerin, bio soy oil and bio sunflower seed oil. These are all moisturizing ingredients. There is also shea butter and grape seed oil in there. I’m not too happy about the alcohol being so high on the ingredients list, but it doesn’t seem to affect my skin in a negative way.
Price and accessibility:
Terra Naturi products are available only in Muller drugstore, so they can be found in Germany and Austria (as far as I know) and can’t be ordered online. The face cream was just 3.35 euros, which is a bargain, even if it’s just a basic moisturizer.
My overall opinion:
I didn’t have any high hopes for this face cream, but you know what? It does what it should, meaning it does moisturize the skin and although it says it’s for dry skin, I can use it now that it’s not hot outside anymore because it absorbs fast into the skin and it doesn’t make me look greasy, it just gives that glow within appearance. It leaves the skin feeling soft and plump, so I’m happy with the results. I use it at nights because I have something else for the morning, but it wouldn’t be a problem to use it in the morning as well.
My take on this is, if you want to try some decent drugstore skincare and if you have the possibility to get your hands on some Terra Naturi ones, give them a try since they are very affordable.
