I know what you are all thinking. Why the heck would I review a product that’s been on the market for years and years? What could I possibly bring new to the table? Well, since I’ve been sleeping on this (at least that’s how I feel), I think that I just need to throw my two cents in there.

Packaging:

The packaging of this concealer reminds of that of the famous YSL Touche Eclat, because it has one of those twist applicators. I took me some time to get the product out at the first use, but now I have no problems with it. The plastic tube contains 6.8 ml.

Texture:

The concealer has a very creamy texture which makes it easy to apply and easy to blend. It doesn’t dry very fast, but I like that because it gives me the time to blend it the way that I like it. I use the shade Fair, because I use it for the under eye area and I want it to be a little bit lighter to brighten that area.

Price and accessibility:

Maybelline is a very popular drugstore brand so it can be found inmost beauty stores, weather online or at various retailers. I got mine for 9 euros in Austria at a Muller drugstore, but there are various other places where it can be found for cheaper, including in Romania. Even for 10 euros, I think it’s a fair price considering the quality and the fact that a concealer can last for a long time because you don’t need much.

My overall opinion:

I can’t believe I’ve slept on this concealer and that it took me such a long time to try it out. It’s my favorite concealer so far, especially since it’s so affordable. It doesn’t crease at all, all day long, even without any setting powder! That’s a big deal because many concealers crease on me.

I can’t say that it completely covers my dark circles, but it does make a big difference. And I have really dark circles because I don’t get much sleep so that’s normal. All I can say it that it can make my eyes look less tired and I do think that it helps improve the appearance of fine lines.

So, to sum it up, I love it and I would encourage everyone to try it at least once. I know that not everyone loves every product, so it may not be a hit, but believe, it’s worth trying and I hope they don’t ever discontinue it.
