I normally wouldn’t do a separate review on a deodorant and it would end up in my monthly empties, but this Nivea product is new (or at least it’s new here in stores) and it seems like something interesting, so I decided to give it a try. I saw that magnesium deodorants are in trend right now, because I think that Garnier has something similar and maybe other brands as well. Magnesium is an ingredient that is used in deodorants now instead of aluminum.

Packaging:

One of the things I like about Nivea roll-ons is that they come in glass bottles, so they’re a little more elegant. Fancy, if you want. I also like the shimmery lettering for the M on the bottle and the green color. The bottle contains 50 ml.

Texture:

This deodorant has a creamy texture and it’s white, like most roll-ons I used before, but it doesn’t stain. It also has a light scent, the typical Nivea scent that most of their products have.

Ingredients:

Aqua, Propanediol, Steareth-2, Magnesium Chloride, PPG-15 Stearyl Ether, Steareth-21, Isosteareth-20, Parfum, Octenidine HCl, Ethylhexylglycerin, Persea Gratissima Oil, Octyldodecanol, Propylene Glycol, Palmitic Acid, Stearic Acid, Caprylyl Glycol, Myristic Acid, Arachidic Acid, Oleic Acid, BHT, Citric Acid

It doesn’t contain aluminum and it also doesn’t contain alcohol, which is a big plus in my book. Of course, it does contain magnesium chloride and avocado oil, which I think is soothing and nourishing for the skin.

Price and accessibility:

I bought mine in a DM store, but I think it’s available in all supermarkets and beauty stores because Nivea is a brand that can easily be found in Romania. It’s cheap, just about 2.5 euros, so it’s a great drugstore option.

My overall opinion:

I like most Nivea deodorants that I used because they are very gentle on the skin. It doesn’t stain the clothes, it’s good against excessive sweating that is one of the problems I have and it doesn’t irritate the skin.

So, in my book, it’s a drugstore deodorant that I like and I will also repurchase again.
