Used-up and tested #34 – beauty products leaving my collection

Last month I didn’t do this series because I only had a couple of products, but now I gathered some more. These are empties or decluttered products that I didn’t review on the blog or that I didn’t mention on other occasions, because I want to mention them but I don’t want to repeat myself. So if I’m using the same shampoo, deodorant etc. I won’t put it in my empties each month. Ok? Ok!

Shower gels

Dermomed Cashmere and Orchid shower gel – this is an Italian shower gel that I found at a store near my mom’s appartement, and I thought it would be something nice, but nope. It was very liquidy, the scent was not that great and I expected something more for some reason. We Romanians tend to believe that everything that is made in a foreign country is better than a Romanian product, but that’s not always the case.

Balea Dream On shower gel – it was supposed to smell like tropical flowers but I didn’t like the scent. Other than that, I love Balea shower gels in general.

Balea Over The Clouds shower gel – this one was a fave and I already have a backup bottle. It smells like sugar candy and I just love the scent! It doesn’t say limited edition on the bottle so I hope I will find it more often.

Body care products

ThisWorks Stress Check Kind Hands – I got it from a Lookfantastic beauty box. It was ok, but I don’t like strong scent of essential oils in ThisWorks products.

Cien Tropical Foot Mousse – I had something similar in the past, I can’t remember if it’s exactly the same. This one is a wonderful foot cream that has the texture of a mousse and it smells like exotic fruits. Unfortunately it was a summer limited edition. I remember it was cheap, around 1.5 euros and it’s a vegan product.

Perfume and deodorant

B.U. In Action Pure + Dry Roll-On Deodorant – B.U. should stick to making body sprays and perfumes because this deodorant was awful. It didn’t work well as a deodorant, the scent was not so grate and it stained one of my blouses, which I was able to get off during washing. I don’t recommend it.

Luxury Last Kiss For Women EDP – I got this perfume for just 5 euros from Lidl and it’s one of their own brand perfumes. it was supposed to be a replica for a famous one, but now I can’t remember which. It smells likes roses so that I like, but of course, it wasn’t very long-lasting (just about 2 hours on me).

Lip and eyebrow products

Cien Tropical Summer Sweet Pineapple lip balm – it was just a regular pineapple-scented lip balm, nothing special. It was ok.

Lime Crime Wet Cherry Lip Gloss – this one I decluttered because I just don’t wear it and it doesn’t make any sense to keep it. It’s a nude shade, but one of those nudes that makes me look too pale and I don’t want to constantly look like I’m celebrating Halloween.

essence eyebrow pencil – I got this in an advent calendar a couple of years ago but I don’t use it because it’s a light brown shade and I have natural black eyebrows. I don’t need to keep makeup products around that don’t suit me.

Sheet masks

Beauty Pro Brightening Sheet Mask – I got this in last month’s Lookfantastic box. Beauty Pro is one of the brands that I like for sheet masks because they make them from cotton I think, so they fit much better on the face and I don’t have to lay still while I apply them.

Korika SciBeauty K-Beauty eye patches – I got these just so I would receive free delivery when I ordered something from the Notino website (an advent calendar-yay!). They were ok, but I can’t say that my undereye area looked amazing or anything after using them.

That was all for now, I will do another one of these empties roundups when my little empties basket is full again.
