I want to show you the goodies that await for me this December because I’m so happy that I got them. I didn’t want to buy any expensive calendars because I don’t want to spend a lot of money when I’m interested in only a few products in there. For example, the Lookfantastic one was rather disappointing for me this year (as is the box and I can’t wait to end my subscription) and the Sephora multi-brands one is too expensive. I wanted to get the Douglas multi-brands one because there are some things in there that I’m interested in, but Douglas Romania hasn’t brought it in stock yet. So, I got two affordable advent calendars instead from two brands that I love and I will probably also get another one if it comes in stock.
essence DIY Advent Calendar Made With Love

This little box was only about 20 euros and I got 24 beautiful full size essence products in there from past ranges. I don’t mind that it doesn’t contain new products because what you get for the value is still great. I mean, I pay less than 1 euro for a product! Of course there are some filler items in there like nail stickers (bleah!), but still, there are 3 eyeshadows palettes in there and lots of other makeup products.

I already packed my little gift bags and I ordered them from the least exciting for the most exciting ones, so the gifts are more and more better as Christmas comes around the corner. I already forgot the order of the products, so I’m still going to be a little surprised.

Of course, there were some nice paper gifts bags and stickers to pack the products and the bags are so cute that I think they could also be reusable for smaller gifts. I purchased the calendar online, from the Notino website.
Balea Advent Calendar Magic Is In The Air

This one I got recently, as soon as it came in my local DM store and I’m very happy about that because they didn’t have many in store, just a few. It costs around 15 euros and it contains 24 bath, body care and skin care products in travel sizes from Balea. I love the brand, I think the calendar has a very cute design and many of the products inside were especially created for the advent calendar, so I’m excited to discover them all.
The last calendar that I want to get is from Sinsay and it will cost less than 10 euros and it’s supposed to be all jewelry. I don’t expect high quality jewelry at that price, but I want to have some fun accessories to wear throughout December, so I don’t mind if they’re cheaply made. The calendar is not yet in stock on their website, but I can’t wait to get my hands on it.
This year, I’m not going to show on my blog what I got in the calendars each day because I won’t have time to do a blogmas because December is a busy month at work and at school for me, but I will post updates every 4 days and do some mini reviews on the products just because I will probably be very excited to share them with you.
As much as I love advent calendars, I just don’t think that it’s worth spending a lot of money for samples and travel-sized products, so that’s why I chose these two, because they’re affordable and the essence one has only full size products in it.
