November 2021 Lookfantastic Beauty Box – All the colours & All of the lights

It’s that time of the month again, where we unbox the Lookfantastic beauty box. This month’s theme is called “All the colours & All of the lights”, but don’t let the box fool you. I don’t see anything related to colours and lights in here except for the fact that they went with a purple theme because the majority of the packaging is purple. The box is a beautiful navy blue, so I really don’t get the connection between the blue and the purple.

This was yet again one of the most disappointing boxes that I got, because of the products we got in here (mostly same brands we had in the past) and because the value is not as high as they claim it is. But let’s see what we have in here.

Molton Brown Relaxing Ylang-Ylang Bath & Shower Gel (100 ml)

This was one of the products that had multiple variants. We could either get this one, or a cuticle oil from NCLA or a hair treatment from Grow Gorgeous. From all the variants, I prefer this one because I like Molton Brown shower gels. Sadly, this is only a travel size, but it does smell very nice and I know that these shower gels can last surprisingly long because they have such a dense consistency. The full size product (300 ml) retails for 124.30 lei (25.13 euros) on the Lookfantastic website, so the travel size is worth 8.37 euros.

Balance Me BHA Exfoliating Concentrate (30 ml)

I love BHAs so I’m actaually happy about this product even though it’s just a travel size and I already started to use this lotion in the evening. It contains peppermint oil and mineral oil. The full size product (180 ml) is sold for 26 euros on the brand’s website, so the travel size is worth 4.33 euros. Later edit: you can read my review on the Balance Me BHA Exfoliating Concentrate on my blog.

Le Mini Macaron Moisturizing Foot Mask

This is one of those sheet masks for the feet in the form of hydrating socks with lavender oil and witch hazel leaf extract. My feet are in need for some care right now, so that’s a nice little mask to try on. I couldn’t find the foot mask, but the hand mask is 28.19 lei (5.70 euros) on the Lookfantastic website, so I will go with that.

Prai Ageless Throat & Decolletage Creme (10 ml)

Honestly, I think these neck creams are just a gimmick. I use my regular moisturizer for the neck and décolletage area, or when I use a moisturizer like I had that la Roche Posay mattifying one, I simply used a body cream. I don’t think there’s a need to have an extra product for the neck. Plus, this is only a mini size. It contains shea butter and grapeseed oil. The full size (50 ml) is sold for 141.19 lei (28.55 euros) on the Lookfantastic website, so the mini size is worth 5.71 euros.

Comfort Zone Renight Cream (30 ml)

This was last month’s sneak peek product and it’s also just a travel size night cream. I had Comfort Zone products in the past and they were ok, not amazing, but not bad. It contains goji berry oil and hydrolysed tomato extract. I couldn’t find the product on the Lookfantastic website or on the brand’s website, but the full size (60 ml) is sold for 46.50 UK pounds (54.28 euros) on the Feelunique website, so the travel size is worth 27.14 euros. Later edit: you can read my review on the Comfort Zone Renight Cream on my blog.

Diego Dalla Palma High Precision Long Lasting Water Resistant Brow Pencil (mini size)

This is the tiniest brow pencil I have ever seen and I can’t understand why they couldn’t put a full size one in the box, especially since it’s the only makeup product in here. It doesn’t say the shade name on it. The full size (2.5 grams) is sold for 81.93 lei (16.57 euros) on the Lookfantastic website, but this pencil can’t possibly have more than 0.5 grams so it’s worth 3.31 euros.

The total value of the box is 54.56 euros, mostly because of that Comfort Zone cream because it’s expensive, so at least they hit the 50 euros value. However, it’s very skin care heavy and the only full size product in here is the foot mask which is good for one use only. The makeup product is just an eyebrow pencil which is a joke to be honest because it’s already tiny, imagine how it looks once I sharpen it at least once. Plus, I don’t use eyebrow products so I’m not happy about it. I like the shower gel and all the skin care products, but the Prai neck cream is a gimmick and like I said, the eyebrow pencil has no value for me. I can’t say that I like the box or that I’m excited about it.

There is no sneak peek for December’s box and I really hope they at least end the year with a bang especially since Christmas is coming. Instead they teased the Black Friday box which will contain 11 products, but the price of it was not listed.

Compared to last years’ November beauty box, that was much better. It had a total value of 62 UK pounds and it contained a full size nail polish from Nails Inc., a mini eye pencil from Lord & Berry (but not as tiny as the brow pencil from this month’s box), a full size Naobay face cream, a travel size micellar water from Polaar, a mini size hair treatment from Philip Kingsley and a mini leg cream from Thisworks. Although I was not a fan of the leg cream or the hair treatment, I enjoyed the two makeup products that I still own and use and the face cream. So yeah, this month’s box is really not that diverse or that valuable for me.

If you enjoyed this unboxing and you want to subscribe to the Lookfantastic beauty box, I would highly appreciate it if you would use my my referral code and subscribe. (But don’t feel obliged to do it!)
