Eveline Cosmetics SOS Lash Booster review

Today I want to talk to you about a very special product that has gone on my absolute must have beauty products list and I plan to buy back-ups of this to make sure that I don’t go without. I wanted to get a lash serum because my lashes are long, but they are not thick and they tend to lean forwards and I wasn’t happy with how they looked even after applying various coats of mascara. But all the lash serums that I found were very expensive and came in little tubes so I would have to buy at least two tubes to last me an entire month. Then, I decided to try this product when I was doing some online shopping on the Notino website and I added it to my cart.

Eveline Cosmetics is a Polish cosmetics brand and although Polish cosmetics are usually a hit or miss, just like the ones we have in Romania, I decided that for the low price, it was worth trying it out. The products are all cruelty free, like all European brands are because we don’t test on animals here and they are also not sold in China, so I’m happy about that. But let’s talk about the product.

Packaging:

The lash serum comes in a tube with a wand that contains 10 ml, which is great because I use it twice a day, so I will probably go fast though it. The tube is a light plastic one, but the wand is really nice because it’s so slim and I can get to those tiny inner corner lashes with it. I also like the design, because it looks elegant with the golden color.

Texture:

The serum has a thick texture, but it does apply easy on the lashes and it really coats them nicely. It’s white, so I can’t use it on its own if I want to go mascara free because some white flakes can be seen in some places. It doesn’t bother me because mascara is one of the makeup products that I use every single day, even if I just stay in, just because it makes me feel good about myself.

Ingredients:

Aqua (Water), Paraffin, Bis-Diglyceryl Polyacyladipate-2, Copernicia Cerifera Cera, Stearic Acid, Bis-PEG-12 Dimethicone Beeswax, Propylene Glycol, Glyceryl Behenate, Cetearyl Alcohol, Triethanolamine, Phenoxyethanol, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Ceteareth-20, DMDM Hydantoin, Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil, Panthenol, Hydrolyzed Soy Protein, Methylparaben, Ethylparaben, Butylparaben, Butylene Glycol, Propylparaben, Sodium Hyaluronate , Sodium Nitrate, Hydrated Silica, Potassium Sorbate, Trisodium EDTA, Disodium EDTA.

The key ingredients listed on the brand’s website are argan oil in combination with hyaluronic acid (the Luxury of Youth Complex) which help double the volume of lashes and D-panthenol that strengthens the lashes.

Price and accessibility:

Although I didn’t see Eveline Cosmetics products in stores in my town or in other large beauty retailers, they are widely available online, so there’s no problem in getting them. This lash booster was around 4 euros, which is a more than affordable price for a lash booster/serum. The majority of similar products that I saw were around the 20 euros price mark or even much higher.

My overall opinion:

This lash booster is supposed to provide multiple benefits (that’s why it’s a 5 in 1 product): doubles the volume of lashes, extends and strengthens, nourishes and regenerates, densifies the lashes and prevents eyelash loss. It can be used as a lash primer under mascara (which I do in the morning) or it can be applied on its own in the evening.

I use it for two weeks now and I’m more then excited about it. I don’t feel like my lashes grew longer, but they look thicker, they hold a curl without even using an eyelash curler, they have more volume even when I use only one coat of mascara and I see that my lashes don’t fall out when I remove my makeup. It’s not that I’m harsh and I rub my eyes, but I noticed that I would always use 2-3 lashes when I would remove my makeup and this happens much more rarer now, only a lash now and then. So, when the lashes don’t fall out so easily because they are stronger, of course they look better.

For me, this lash booster was a great surprise and I dare to say that it’s one of the products I can’t live without (as a metaphor of course). And, I want to try more products from this brand for sure. My next online order will surely contain more Eveline Cosmetics products that I find interesting and I want to try out.

The low price initially made me skeptic about this lash booster, but I was wrong. It just goes to show that you don’t have to spend a lot of money for high quality products and this one was one of them. If you’re looking for a nice, affordable lash booster and you can find Eveline Cosmetics, please give it a try. Maybe it won’t be groundbreaking, but I’m so happy with the results I got with this products, that I just have to recommend it to everyone.
