I can’t believe 4 days are already gone. I don’t want the advent season to end. Number 5 was also a good. day. In my Balea advent calendar I found a Magic Is In The Air shower gel with gingerbread scent. It contains 50 ml and it’s made in France. I just love anything that smells like gingerbread because it’s also my favorite Christmas treat. This shower gel smells very yummy and it has that same cute design like the entire calendar. I know food scents are not for anyone, but I do love them. This is a vegan product.

The essence DIY calendar had a lip gloss in the bag for me today, more precisely a Smoothie Gloss with raspberry scent (and color, I might add). The tube contains 8 ml and it’s made in Poland. This is also a vegan product. The color is very nice, like a raspberry pink and I also like the scent but the applicator is a mess. The gloss has a thick texture, so when I squeeze it out, it just bursts out in a glob and I have to wipe the excess off. I would have preferred a wand applicator and that’s why I put this gloss lower on the list, because I had a hunch that I wouldn’t be a fan of the packaging.

Finally, probably my least favorite surprise was from the Sinsay advent calendar. It’s just a string bracelet with a golden star (it goes with the star rings I guess). The string is adjustable. I don’t hate it, I just don’t usually wear jewelry like this because I always get the string wet when I wash my hands or it gets dirty and it’s just a mess.

Day 6 was Saint Nicholas’ Day, so I expected some good gifts in my advent calendars and I wasn’t disappointed. First, I got a Balea Magic Is In The Air sheet mask, which looks like it also has a cool design. I didn’t try it yet, because I’m saving it for the weekend, but I think it will be nice. The sheet mask is vegan and is made in China.

The essence calendar also had a special goodie today, the My Power Is Water eyeshadow palette. It’s a 9-pan eyeshadow palette that is made in China. It has a blue-themed color scheme and I have a separate review for this one on my blog.

Finally, the Sinsay advent calendar had a jewelry set, a necklace and two pair of stud earrings, with blue and green crystals, which are very nice because they’re golden and dainty and they fit well during the holiday season. I like all my gifts from this day and I’m excited to use them.

Day 7 also came with some lovely surprises. The Balea advent calendar had a Winter Night Cream Q10 that came in such a lovely miniature packaging and the component also had the same cute design like the rest of the advent calendar. The little jar contains 5 ml and the face cream is made in Switzerland.

The essence DIY calendar had an I Love Stage eyeshadow base in the bag in the shade 01 the stage is mine. I was really in need of a new eyeshadow base because I’m all out, so this is more than helpful. The tube contains 4 ml and the product is made in Poland.

Finally, the surprise gift I liked most for that day came from the Sinsay advent calendar, a pair of very cute Christmas wreath earrings. They’re so colorful and sparkly while being delicate at the same time and I just love them.

Day 8 was total cuteness overload when it came to the products from the advent calendars. The essence DIY advent calendar had a Super Beauty Sponge that feels nice and soft and it also has a funny design on the packaging. I’m sure it was part of some sort of limited edition collection, but I can’t remember which one. Either way, it’s something useful, although I rarely use beauty sponges because I don’t wear foundation, just on special occasions. The sponge is made in China.

The Balea advent calendar had another limited edition product in it, the Magic Is In The Air Solid Body Butter. It’s in the shape of a snowman, how cute is that? it also has a delicious vanilla scent and I can’t wait to use it. The body butter weighs 18 grams and is made in Austria.

Finally, I got another pair of earrings from the Sinsay advent calendar, this time some hoops with cute little stars attached on it. They do love this stars theme and they also love to put earrings in here, probably half of the items are earrings. Either way, the go with the bracelets and the ring that I got over the past days.

That’s if for now, I can’t believe more than a week of the advent is already gone, but I really enjoy these advent calendars and I’m very happy with my choices.
