Opening my advent calendars 2021 days 13 – 16

13 is just not a lucky day for me not ever and since it was also a Monday it was double as tedious as ever. But at least my little surprises cheered me up a little bit. In the essence DIY advent calendar I found a short blender brush, and we all know you can never have too many brushes, especially for blending the eyeshadow. The brush feels very nice and I like all the brushes I have from essence. It’s made in China and it’s a brush with synthetic bristles.

In the Balea advent calendar I got something to pamper myself in the shower, a Magic Is In The Air shower peeling with natural sea salt. I must say I like how they tried to put all kinds of products in the calendar. Look how cute the packaging looks with the fairy on it. The packet contains 40 grams, it’s a vegan product and it’s made in Switzerland.

Finally, from the Sinsay advent calendar I got the last piece to complete the Christmas tree set, a bracelet that goes with the necklace and the ring.

Day 14 was a good day because I got three products that I really enjoy. First, in the Balea advent calendar I got a Magic Is In The Air shower cream with apple and orange flower scent which is nice because it’s a Christmas scent and I really like Balea shower products. The tube contains 50 ml, the product is vegan and it’s made in France.

In the essence DIY advent calendar was a Hydrating + Perfecting primer with SPF 20. I haven’t got a chance to use it yet, but I’m curious to see if the essence primers are any good. Maybe I will do a review on this one. The primer comes in a primer with a dropper, it contains 25 ml and is made in Poland.

Finally, in the Sinsay advent calendar I got a ring with a snowflake that goes with the bracelet that I got during the first days of the month. Like all the other rings, it’s not adjustable but it fits on my ring finger and so far I like the rings because they don’t change their color as easily as the chains from the bracelets and the necklaces.

Day 15 made me feel even more in the Christmas spirit because of the products that I received. In the Balea advent calendar was something that was probably very useful during this time and cute at the same time. A Magic Is In The Air hand sanitizer with fruity scent. I know, we don’t want to remember we have to constantly wash and disinfect our hands, but I actually like this cute little bottle and I will reuse it. Plus, the sanitizer smells nice and it feels hydrating on the hands. The bottle contains 50 ml (so it’s actually a full size product), the product is vegan and is made in Switzerland.

In the essence DIY advent calendar I got a gorgeous shine last & go nail polish in the shade 52 Shine On Me. Normally I’m not excited about red nail polishes in advent calendars but this one has very fine red shimmer particles in it so that it’s sparkly while not being too over the top. I already did my nails with it and it’s a beautiful ruby red color that dried fast and applied very nicely on the nails. The bottle contains 8 ml, it’s a vegan product and it’s made in Luxembourg.

In the Sinsay advent calendars I got a pair of earrings, with a sparkly “HO HO” I really like the design because it’s fun and cute, but unfortunately I had allergic reactions from Sinsay earrings so I won’t be able to wear them. But they are cute.

Day 16 was a little bit so-and-so, in my opinion. In the Balea advent calendar I got a Magic Is In The Air eye cream, which is nice because it’s something new, but I have to say that the face products I got so far were not so good in terms of quality. However, the design is cute (I know I repeat myself). The tube contains 10 ml, the products is vegan and is made in Switzerland.

In the essence DIY advent calendar was a Perfect matte lipstick in the shade 04 Raise You Up which was a good thing because I have never tried a matte lipstick from essence before and it feels nice and creamy on the lips, but the shade is a nude shade that makes me look sickly to be honest. Therefore, it would have been a nice product if the color would have been more suitable for me. I appreciate that they didn’t put just classic reds in here, we had a pink lip gloss, a rosewood lip gloss now a nude lipstick, so I don’t mind it. The lipstick tube contains 3.8 grams, it’s vegan and it’s made in Poland.

In the Sinsay advent calendar I got a set of two rings, one with a red stone and one with a green stone, that completes the set with a necklace and the earrings.

Now, we have only 8 days left. I can’t believe how fast it goes and I’m sad that soon all the advent calendars will be gone…
