Day 21 was not the best day girls and boys. In the Sinsay advent calendar there was no piece of jewelry so I’m hopping it slipped in the 24th door which is below number 21 and it’s not because something is missing.
In the Balea advent calendar I got a Magic Is In The Air bubble bath with lavender scent. Now, there’s probably just a shower oil missing because we got everything else for the bath. I’m saving this together with some other stuff like masks for Christmas day when I plan on taking a long bath in the evening. This cute little bottle contains 50 ml, it’s vegan and is made in France.
In the essence DIY advent calendar I got a This Is Me lipstick in the shade 04 Crazy. This is a semi-matte lipstick in a dark burgundy shade. It feels creamy on the lips while being long-lasting, but the color is just a little bit too bold for my taste. However, for autumn or winter I think it’s a nice lipstick. The tube contains 3.5 grams, it’s a vegan lipstick and is made in Poland. That was the last lip product in the calendar and I think there weren’t too many ( 2 lipsticks, 2 lip glosses and 1 lip balm).

Day 22 was good day. The essence DIY advent calendar had one of their hit products in the bag, the I Love Extreme Curl & Volume mascara, which is a very good mascara. essence does one of the best drugstore mascaras I’ve tried. The tube contains 12 ml, the mascara is vegan and is made in Italy (I noticed some of the best mascaras are made in Italy).
In the Balea advent calendar was a Magic Is In The Air hand and nail balm and I’m not surprised to see it here because a hand cream was the only thing we were missing so far. The tube contains 20 ml and the hand balm is made in Switerland.
In the Sinsay advent calendar was a bracelet with those green and red jingle bells to go with the earrings, but I won’t wear it because I don’t like to hear the sound of jingle bells all the time when I move my wrist.

Day 23 was a great day because I really like all the products. In the Balea advent calendar was a Magic Is In The Air hair mask with berry scent, just like the rest of the hair care products. I must say I quite enjoyed the shampoo, the conditioner and the hair serum, so I’m sure I will like this hair mask as well. This is only for one use, the sachet contains 20 ml, it’s a vegan product and it’s made in China.
In the essence advent calendar was a BlushLighter in the shade 04 Peachy Dawn which is a gradient blush and highlighter combination and I really like this type of glowy product. The compact contains 8 grams, it’s vegan and it’s made in China.
In the Sinsay advent calendar I got a pair of hoop earrings with a candycane design. They are really cute, but I repeat myself, I’m afraid I will be not be able to wear them because I’m allergic to them.

And now boys and girls, let’s have a drumroll for the last gifts I got in my advent calendars on Christmas Eve. In the essence DIY advent calendar was a Witch Side eyeshadow palette, which is the biggest one of the three we got so far. It has 15 shades, it contains 19.5 grams and it’s made in China.
In the Balea advent calendar was one of those hand warmer things. Usually, I would consider this a filler item, but since they decided to put it in the 24th, I supposed it’s supposed to be a big surprise. It’s designed as a glove and it’s useful, but two would probably have been better. Plus, I used to have a pair of these and I never got them to turn into their original shape again after the first use so I can’t say that I’m excited about the last gift. I would have preferred to receive a full size Balea product instead.
In the SInsay advent calendar I got the last pieces of jewelry from the snowflake set, a pair of earrings and a necklace.
So that was it, another advent season is over. I liked my advent calendars this year and I will definitely try to get the essence DIY one and the Balea one again next year.
The Sinsay one was cute bust the jewelry is really of bad quality so in the end it’s not worth even the 8 euros or how much it costed. I think it was about 8 euros.
The essence one was far better than the regular calendar because even if there aren’t products with a special design, all the items were full size and there were only two filler items (the nail stickers and those cuticle sticks) and the price was more than a bargain: 20 euros for 24 products is great. There were three eyeshadow palettes in here and I don’t mind that they are discontinued items or items from previous collections, it’s still worth it, especially since I love essence products.
The Balea one was also great because there was a great variety in products in there and they really put some thought in creating special products for the calendar and a special design. My only complaint is that they could have put larger sized product in there. The calendar was about 15 euros and there were 24 products, but since Balea products are already cheap (the shower gels, shampoos, hand creams and other items in there are only 1 euro each for the full size), they could have put 100 ml shower gels instead of 50 ml ones, same with the shampoo and conditioner, but overall I’m very happy with what I got especially since some of the products were really good like the lip balm, the hair product and the shower gels.
I can’t wait for more surprises next year and who know what other advent calendars will come out.
