Since I enjoyed using the lifting eye system form Avon, I decided to give it a try to this eye system that is supposed to help with dark circles and eye bags and so on. It also consists of a gel and a cream, but it doesn’t have to be used on different eye areas, instead the gel is used in the evening and the cream in the morning.
Packaging:
The products comes in a plastic jar with two compartments, one for the gel and one for the cream. Each type of product contains 10 ml.
Texture:

The gel is green and it feels very sticky, much more sticky than the one from the lifting eye system and the cream is white but it’s also thicker and it takes more time to absorb into the skin.
Ingredients:
Night: Water/Eau, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, PVP, Carbomer, Sodium Polyacrylate, Diazolidinyl Urea, Potassium Hydroxide, Chondrus Crispus Extract, Disodium EDTA, Fucus Vesiculosus Extract, Thiazolylalanine, Hexylene Glycol, Xanthan Gum, Sd Alcohol 40-B, Blue 1/Ci 42090
Day: Water/Eau, Dimethicone, Hydrogenated Polyisobutene, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Trisiloxane, Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Silica, Thiodipropionic Acid, Cetyl PEG/PPG-10/1 Dimethicone, PEG/PPG-19/19 Dimethicone, Sodium Hydroxide, Diazolidinyl Urea, Urea, Disodium EDTA, Trimethylsiloxysilicate, Fucus Vesiculosus Extract, Methicone, Thiazolylalanine, Hexylene Glycol, Silica Dimethyl Silylate, Xanthan Gum, Polyester-1, Triethoxycaprylylsilane, PEG-200, Mica/Ci 77019, Titanium Dioxide/Ci 77891, Iron Oxides
I have to say the formula doesn’t impress me. For example, the night cream, or rather gel contains tons of viscosity controlling ingredients and some preservatives that I don’t like. I appreciate the glycerin and the seaweed extract which has soothing properties.
The same goes for the day cream. The only ingredients I like are the glycerin and the urea, plus I know that the dimethicone and the mica just give the appearance of brighter, smoother skin, but I do appreciate the effect.
Price and accessibility:
Like all Avon products, it’s available only through consultants and I bought mine for around 5.5 euros (which I do think it’s too much for what it’s worth).
My overall opinion:
I like the formula and the feel of the Lifting Dual Eye System better. My under eye area doesn’t look brighter or depuffed, so I don’t see any benefits to this really. Therefore, it’s not a product that I would recommend, because while it’s affordable, there are better options out there.
