Knowing that I like perfumes so much, my mom was last month on vacation in Belgium and got me this perfume because she saw it’s something floral (the name is a dead giveaway) and she thought I would like it. Now, BI-ES perfumes are also widely available in Romania. I saw them in DM stores, in various online shops and in other random beauty stores.
BI-ES is a Polish perfume and cosmetics (but mostly perfumes) company that does all kind of cheap fragrances that are supposed to be dupes for more popular one. You know the kind, think La River perfumes, they do the same thing. Of course, at that low price for a big bottle of perfume, I didn’t expect a good quality, but it’s a gift from my mom and it does smell nice, so I don’t mind.
Packaging:
The perfume comes in a basic glass bottle with a pink plastic cap. The outer packaging is quite nice, pink with flowers and the perfume also has a light pink color. The bottle contains 100 ml.
Top notes: orange, tangerine and caramel
Middle notes: peach, jasmine and orange blossom
Base notes: sweet amber, guaiac wood and sandalwood
Price and accessibility:
My mom got this perfume for 7 euros, which is more or less the same price I found online on Romanian website. It’s a fair price, considering that it’s such a big bottle, but the longevity leaves much to be desired.
My overall opinion:
While I do like the floral scent, a nice mix between flowery and fruity notes, not to sweet and perfect for summer days, it really doesn’t last long on my skin. I apply the perfume in the morning and after a couple of hours I can’t smell it anymore. It’s one of those cheap perfumes for teens or for people who like just a really light scent. It’s doesn’t smell like anything special or unique, so what you pay for is what you get.
