It’s the last day of summer and believe me when I say that I am so ready for autumn season because I’m tired of the heat and the constant sweating. This month, I have about half products that I used up and half products that I decided to declutter, so let’s see what it’s all about.
Bath and body empties

Balea Caribbean Feeling shower gel – it was a LE product, like most Balea ones and it smelled like coconut and frangipani and I really liked it. I like how Balea shower gels are clear because they don’t add any extra dyes in them.
Cien Apricot shower gel smoothie – this was an exfoliating shower gel with apricot seeds and rice and I liked it because it smelled nice, it did its job as an exfoliant and because it didn’t dried my skin out because it also contained some moisturizing ingredients. However, it was also a LE products and I can’t find it anymore.
Cien Hello melon deodorant spray – as a deodorant spray it didn’t do much, but I liked the watermelon scent and I used it mostly when I would stay at home so no intensive sweating was involved. It was also a LE product, so it’s no longer available.
Avon Rare Pearls body spray – it has that “old lady smell”, and I’m saying this with all my love for old ladies everywhere but it was just not for me.
Hair care empties

Avon Advance Techniques Miracle Densifier conditioner – a conditioner for thin hair that has no volume. It was ok and it had a nice citrus scent, but I can’t say that I was very impressed with it.
Avon Advance Techniques Miracle Densifier leave-in treatment – the bottle is almost full but I’m tossing it out because it made my hair oily and I have enough problems with that on my own.
Makeup empties

Bottega Verde bronzing powder – I have this for about 4 years now and I barely made a dent in it. The packaging broke and frankly I’m also bored with it, so it’s time to go. However, you can look up my review on the bronzing powder.
essence highlighter – I got this in an advent calendar a couple of years ago but since I’m not a big fan of highlighters, especially powder highlighters, I don’t want to keep it anymore.
essence smoothie gloss – I got it in an advent calendar last year and I used some of it, but I don’t like glosses in those squirting tubes so I’m tired of it.
Lord and Berry eyebrow pencil – also from and advent calendar, I used it for a while as an eye pencil but it doesn’t show on the eyes so I don’t feel like bothering with it.
Diego dalla Palma black eye pencil – again, from an advent calendar, I used about half of it but since it’s smaller now I don’t have a good grip on it so I don’t like to use it anymore.
Douglas felt tip black eyeliner – it’s just not a great eyeliner because it smudges and I have better ones, so I no longer have a use for it.
Nail polish empties

Douglas Glow nail polish in 870 Blue Mermaid – it’s a color that I just don’t use often, plus it looks funky by now because it’s old.
essence gel nail polish in 115 rockablue – again, an old nail polish in a color that I don’t use often.
essence mini nail polish in 03 ho ho ho – it’s a weird color and I don’t like it so I don’t see the point in keeping it anymore.
Avon Clearskin bleamish clearing patches with salicylic acid and botanical extracts

They work just the same as those from Balea, but they cost twice as much and there are only 12 patches in a sachet (the Balea ones come in packets of 36).
That was all for this month, I did a little bit of cleaning up in my makeup drawer and there are a few limited edition summer products in here, but I say goodbye to all of them, since I want a clean slate for the autumn.
