Calvin Klein CK IN2U Her EDT review

This is the newest edition to my perfume collection, something I wanted for my birthday and I got it from my relatives as a gift. I decided it’s time to add a fresh perfume because most of the ones that I use are either floral or oriental and this one is a clean everyday scent.

Packaging:

The bottle looks quite cool, it was designed by Stephen Burks to look like a spirits bottle. It’s made of glass and covered with an injection molded plastic skin cut-thru with the brand’s logo. The perfume is available in several sizes and I got a big 150 ml bottle.

Top notes: Sicilian Bergamot, Pink Grapefruit, Red Currant Leaves

Middle notes: Orchid, Cactus

Base notes: Vanilla, Amber, Cedar

Price and accessibility:

Calvin Klein perfumes are available in various beauty shops and online stores. I don’t know for sure where this one was gotten from, but I saw it in an online store for about 20 euros, which is more than affordable for such a large perfume bottle.

My overall opinion:

I didn’t expect to like this perfume as much as I do. I can sense the grapefruit and currant fresh notes and also the orchid and the vanilla scent and the combination with the bergamot makes me feel like this is a vacation perfume. It makes me think of sunny days and walks on the beach. It’s not a new perfume as it was launched in 2007, along with it’s pair, a fragrance for men, but I only now decided to give Calvin Klein perfumes a chance. You know what, they may not be as complex as other scents or as sophisticated, but they’re classics for a reason.

The longevity is also surprisingly good, but this depends very much on each person’s skin. Some perfumes that are said to be long-lasting disappear on me in a couple of hours while other that are supposed to be light last me all day. Therefore, I love it because it’s clean, it’s not too sweet, it’s perfect for everyday wear and while I don’t wear perfumes according to seasons, I would say that this is a very nice scent for for the spring and summer.
